Gaming mini-reviews ⎪ Sims 4 Knitting pack, Not tonight (take back control edition)
Good morning!
As I’ve told y’all in my Sunday’s Post yesterday, I’ve passed my time playing videogames lately. So I thought, instead of having a separate post of “first impressions” on each of them, why not combine it all within a litttle “mini-review” gaming edition!
Thoses two have been mainly what I’ve been playing constantly, as I sort-of ditched the remake of Friends of Mineral town 😅
Sims 4; Knitting pack (Nifty Knitting)
PC/Mac – Origin or Steam
If you know me, you should know that I can’t resist buying another sims pack 🤣 They shall be my doom.. I just LOVE having more clothing/personality traits aswell as new careers.
Not only are the objects & clothing super cute in this pack, but what i’m most excited of is that they added this “website” within the game where you can sell what you create!! Finally you can sell all thoses little knacks and buy them; all the potions, wood-carving things, herbal remedies.. EVERYTHING can be found on there. No need to grind them skill levels anymore if you ever need to craft an item in particuar, you can just buy it — the list being refreshed every couple of in-game minutes.
Not tonight (Take back control edition)
Switch e-shop or Steam
Looking at it, it made me instinctly think of “Papers, Please” ; which had been recommended to me by my ex. But in this one, instead of looking at passport, we are working as a security guard and ID-ing people to enter clubs or festivals.
My version has a two-in one; The “regular” where we are an immigrant doing jobs to stay in the country, and the “one love” version where we play as another character trying to find love.
I love thoses kind of pixel-y games; the concept is quite easy too, We have a phone where we can take bouncer’s jobs/texts/etc. and all we have to do is Card people and make them enter the event or not. It starts relatively simple; make sure they are 18+, and along the way we’re getting more restrictions; Dress code, Guest list & password added, body scanning aswell as country ban list. I gotta say this is quite an addictive game, I love it!
Have you played thoses games yet? Are you liking them?
What games have you been playing lately?
Papers, Please was so much fun—though the plot doesn’t sound very good. I’ve got to try Not Tonight. It does sound like a modern update to Papers.
Thanks for the review!
From what I saw on the steam page, that are related to each other!! I wonder if there is/will be more like that!
Yeeah, the setting of papers please being during a war/hitler’s era is not *quite* my cup of tea 😅 though I really like the mechanic of it, I still need to give it a try someday!
Yes!! I loved seeing the cas/build&buy mode objects! And the knitting animation is so cute!
I barely never let my sims leave the house lot 😂 as the loading animation is erh.. so gimme all the things!!
