Google Translates My Favorite Book, Holidays Edition ❄️
Moornin’ !
Back with another BEWinter post!! I’m actually gonna cheat a little bit, as I don’t have much favorite winter/holiday read as I just read one so far.. so we’re gonna go with books I have on my virtual wanna read instead! 😅
We are quite late with this prompt from Sam @ Fictionally Sam for December 7th. — Prompt’s post, Her post ;
Google Translates My Favorite Books…Holidays Edition
Inspired by Jimmy Fallon’s popular segment, Choose your favorite Winter/Holiday reads and use google translate to translate it to a random foreign language and then back to English!
I’ll do a few Christmas book from my virtual wanna read shelf, as stated prior, where you can click the goodread link to go see the actual synopsis VS the translated one.
❄️ Christmas in Cockleberry Bay, Nicola May (Goodread)
Meet old and new characters on the Bay with Christmas fun and sounds.
Both the corner shops and the Cockleberry Café are in safe hands, Rosa turns her attention to Ned’s Gift, a charity designed to remember a grandfather whose name changed her life.
Across the hotel, Lucas was fired from his job by his cheating girlfriend and the secret poison of an unknown hotel inspector. Will the hotel still get 3 stars for the Rosette Sea?
Will Mary find true love in the end? Can Titch cope with the demands of the store and be very pregnant. Can Rosa, who has a child of her own, bring out the Cockleberry Bay Charity Christmas Concert in time?
Christmas in Cockleberry Bay is a joyous experience for Rosa fans and her dignified dachshund Hot, delivering a festive season of surprises and surprises.
❄️ The twelves dates of Christmas, Jenny Bayliss (Goodread)
When it comes to relationships, 34-year-old Kate Turner is ready to say “Bah, humbug.” The downtown town of Blexford, England, has not been filled with hope, and yet, Kate has found fulfillment in her creative career, and in her wonderful career of baking her old friend Maf. But her best friend is signing up for a dating agency that promises to help single people find love before the holidays. Twenty-three days until Christmas. Twelve days with twelve different men. Chances are he should finally love her… right?
And with each new day more tragic than ever before – and the whole town is keeping tabs on immorality – Kate has to remind herself that sometimes love, like mistletoe, shows up unexpectedly. And maybe, maybe, it was okay under his nose all the time..
❄️ One by One, Ruth Ware (Goodread)
Getting into the snow in a beautiful, beautiful mountain range doesn’t sound like a big problem on earth, especially when there is a breathable vista, a warm fire, and company to keep you warm. But what happens when that company is made up of eight co-workers, and you can’t trust any of them?
When an off-site company in the pursuit of mindfulness and cooperation goes awry when an avalanche strikes, the joint food chain is irrelevant and trumpet survival is united. Come on Monday morning, how many members will be around the group?
Okay some of thoses did ended up quite funny 🤣 I kind of lost it at One by One’s “trumpet survival” ahah
What is your favorite winter/holiday read?
Do you plan, or did you, read any of thoses?
