Haunted Healthcare ~ Richard Estep ☆ Book Review

Haunted Healthcare ~ Richard Estep ☆ Book Review

Good morning!

First book finished of February ✨ I found this one on a friend’s blog, ithink @HowlingLibraries?

I had been a long time lover of haunted stories, watching them on TV but rarely reading them. I just knew I had to read it!!

Keep or unhaul? Keep!

I love how easy & fast reading this book is, which was exactly why I decided to pick this one! Furthermore, I enjoyed how it wasn’t all scary stories; some were cute & made me tear up.

In one story, nurses share how they can sense the presence of the soul having left the body upon entering the room; thus knowing before doing their procedures when a patient passed or not.. and I agree to that! I had also felt it when we had to euthanize our family cat a decade ago- so that was wierdly comforting to read it was common to be sensed.

« yet countless mediums have agreed that we are only taking a step into a larger, better world, shedding our worn-out shell (..) »

« we may fear the process of dying, as it sometimes brings pain and discomfort, but so long as we have led a life worth living, we should never fear it’s ending. »

« “That old thing was never you,” Rick said, still indicating the body bag. “You were — and you are — so much more than just a physical body. All of your friends, family, and loved ones are waiting for you over there on the other side, mate. »

Do you enjoy haunting stories?
If so, do you have recs for me?
