How animes makes me feel

How animes makes me feel

Good morning,

I have to say, watching animes has been something i’ve picked up witin the recent years; as it was something we’d watch whenever i’d pass time with my ex. Ofcourse I grew up watching Pokemon & cardcaptor Sakura when they aired on my TV back then, translated in QC french… but I never really “cared” to go watch some beside them?

I’ve shared how reading should make you feel quite a long time ago, so I thought why not do one for anime too? maybe at some point i’d do gaming 😝

The animes i’m a sucker for;

In everything, i’m not much of a fan of action or violence, though exceptions (never been one for superheroes either). Because I love to be tortured, I need all the feels that I can have! It’s my thing to somehow start tearing up to things normal people wouldn’t cry at.. even in a thriller- so that doesn’t tell you much ahah πŸ˜…

I like animes where I can fall for a cute guy character, almost always one of the MC, who obviously has the hero syndrome too- that he gotta save EVERYONE despite his own good (Akame Ga Kill, My hero academia..). Bonus point if he’s damaged in some way.

Those that I end up really liking, also have some nice inspiring or relateable quotes.. just a sliver of wisdom within them, and a good touch of childish humor, because i’m a child that will always make me laugh 🀣 And ofcourse, as with everything, a good love story. because love always win.

Generally, they do make me feel the same way as books does, as my taste in both is quite literally the same. So I feel dreamy and squeally, tear up often.. However one thing that do change, is that I have quite alot of action/superheroes in there (which I just said wasn’t my thing. exception for animes); I especially love to see badass woman characters!!

As it did with Sheik’s character while playing Hyrule Warrior, after watching those action ones, i’m just left feeling so strong and confident. Just gimme a sword & i’d swing it while jumping around, kicking ass! 😈 I do get back down pretty quickly, as I’ll have you know this isn’t a skill I have at all- though my need to save everyone is strong.. this isn’t me. i’m not a fighter, i’m more of a softie crying-in-a-corner type πŸ˜… -Not to mention those moves are most probably not humanly possible..-

My finish list so far [From Netflix];
While there’s some others that i’ve dabbed in and watched only a few episodes, those ones i’ve watched atleast a serie of.

  • Sword Art Online ; Currently watching
  • Soul Eater (one of the first I got into- didn’t finished as it somehow gave me panic attacks)
  • My Hero Academia (need to update myself on the last season)
  • Seven Deadly Sins (again, need to see the last season that dropped not too long ago.. am not ready yet. this one & MHA were the big ones I watched with said ex)
  • Akame Ga Kill
  • Demon Slayer
  • Sky-High Survival
  • A Lull in the Sea
  • One punch man
  • Full metal alchemist; brotherhood
  • Love, Chinibyo and other delusions

My wishlist;

  • Angel beats
  • The promised neverland
  • Blue exorcist
  • (Prob more that I can’t think of ATM)

      Depends what you’re into.. my first one had been soul eater; my most favorite though is definately my hero academia, seven deadly sins aswell as sword art online & full metal alchemist brotherhood.

      I do prefer dub to sub though.. I already have trouble focusing on english, if you make me read subtitles while listening to the japanese voices.. its not going too well πŸ˜…
