This month i’m a bit slower to read compared to my reccord in January; but I finally finished another one! When I saw Alex Light, Which I looved The upside of falling, had another book that was just launching when I bought it in Dec 2024- I just had to read it!

I Absolutely love rivals to lovers! The bickering between Wilson & Jackie is hilarious- especially how he nicknamed her froggie 🤣 completely savage considering he’s at fault in this.
My favorite part is when the MC get to really know the rival and actually bond with them; getting the task at hand (getting him back with his ex) harder for them, as ofcourse there’s a slim line between hate & love.
I also really appreciate Jackie’s quest to find out what she wanna do with her future, and the message that it’s okay to take all the time we need; there’s no deadlines to that.
While making a big mistake, she found out what her meaning in life was- and we clearly see her grow through it and accept the responsability with what she’s done.
The relationship she has with her twin sisters & bestfriend is so well written- while there’s a lot of light, we also see them having fights and apologise.
