Just book blogger things

Good morning ~

I thought of a fun little post today- do you remember this “trendy” thing called «Just girly things» ? Well- While I was driving to work, I had the idea of taking the same concept, but for book bloggers or readers 😘

So basically, here’s some things that I personally do that my non-readers around me don’t particularly understand most time.. 😅

✻  Looking at pretty things as props for book pictures

Though I like the piece of decoration, the one thing that attracts me the most will be how ithink it’d look good set up with some books — per exemple: though I love rings, i’ve been looking at the charmed aroma candles with the jewelry inside.. and I did love thoses rings, but one being a kitty mug & the other shaped like a skull was attractive to me because of how I can use it for blogging purpose too afterward!

 

✻  Having way too much books on your TBR than you could ever read

I have personally nearly 900 books in my goodread’s virtual wanna read shelf 🤣 All coming from other blogers that looks right up my alley.. ofcourse I probably won’t read them all- and have double this number within the next year, probably 😶

 

✻  Over-crowded shelf / never enough shelving!

In relation to the previous one, because we buy too many books from our way too big wanna read list.. we need all the shelving we can get!! Though I just got this new bookshelf within the last year or two (that’s slightly bigger), the books are jammed with no order watsoever– I do need to fix that and rearrange them someday..

 

✻  “Random” bouts of emotions others just don’t really understand

As I read mostly in the middle of the night, it is not unusual to find me crying out of nowhere while reading 😅 I feel like that’d be such a confusing thing to wake up to ahah — or even because of some noise i’d make because I wouldve had lauched a book at a wall because of a 80% breakup..

 

✻ Asking for books / book vouchers at any occasions we can get

Ofcourse we love to buy books, the comfort of having them laying around.. we can never have too much! Unless I do have a specific book in mind that I want, I personally go for a bookstore giftcard; I don’t really trust anyone else picking my books..

 

✻ “annoyingly” ask friends or family members for their thoughts

I’m one to not care if my real life people find my blog- in fact, I do show them blog posts sometimes.. even asking them what they think of a post in particular, if it’s “good enough” to post, if the english make sense. Or most times I do like my mother do with me and I ask her which of my set of pictures I’ve taken is the best one xd
