Last Gaming Obsession 🎮 Zelda Majora’s Mask N64

Good morning everyone,

We’re into the oldies this time! Ironically, although two of my three animals come from this game (Kafei & Majora), I actually only played it once.. 😅 The 3days circle used to freak me out, and as I was borrowing my uncle’s 64 growing up, I didn’t had the chance to play it in my childhood.

When the remake got out in 3DS is when I got to play it myself for the first time – I had watched various let’s plays of it before, and I remember seeing my cousin play it when they were camping. As I just got Majora’s Mask tattoed onto my body for my newcomer in the family that I named Majora, I just got the crave to boot it up on my switch with the N64 virtual console.

I barely remember anything of my first playthrough, but even if I did, some things got changed in the remake that is different in the original .. 🥲  So there’s quite a few things I need to look for the solution on how to get all the fairies and masks and things- as I do like to collect everything and go play with all the kids on the moon (rather than directly go for Majora and end it).

 

I HATE platformers with a passion.. so the first temple was HELL 😆 Getting used to the mechanics and I have a problem where instead of drifting, my direction joystick refuse to move sometimes, so I kept getting mad and yelling that I hated this game – while still continuing playing. The Goron Race also took me probably 3hrs in a row of doing JUST the race over and over, I was so mad I was getting angry at everything; to get my sword reshaped I NEEDED to win it by Day 2.. and I was just not getting it.
