The novel is based on the concept that each individual has one chance to meet a deceased loved one, with the help of the « in-between ». You get one chance as a living, and one chance as a deceased; thus we follow stories of people wanting to meet a deceased via the in-between.
The stories were all so cute! We got a variety of dynamics (a celebrity, a mother, a bestfriend..) and each with different morals, but all of them very soothing.
Now i’d just need a world where we mix this one & The messenger cat café 🤭
