March book haul 2026; Anticipated new releases

Good morning!

I rarely have anticipated new releases.. hence why I rarely post about them, and unfortunately I just got two so I didn’t really wanted to do a full post solely on that; so I decided to do it as a book haul! As I did preorder both of them ☺️

♦︎ The midnight Train, Matt Haig (May 2026) ; One thing that I miss of twitter, was that I loved Matt Haig’s posts.. since moving to Bluesky, I haven’t seen much of his. It’s by luck that I’ve fell on this continuation of The midnight Library, while browsing the “anticipated releases” part of my Chapters website.

While I loved the final words from the midnight library, I definately thought it was a tough read- especially at the start. but I loved the life in Antartica, that left an impression on me. In this one, we aren’t going into the crosswords of what our lives could have been if we’d do a different choices, this time it’s on which memories would the train stop at our last moments when we “see our life flash before our eyes”.

♦︎ Crimes sans Frontières, Victoria Charlton & McSkyz (Mar 2026) ; Both being big names in the French True Crime Youtube, Victoria in French Canada (Quebec precisely) while McSkyz in France. I’ve read all of both’s published novels, and they collaborate for the first time together!

♦︎ Soyangri Book Kitchen, Kim Jee-Hye ; The only one already published in this list- I’m hoping this isn’t a flop like Dinner at the night library.. I just love the mix of library & coffee shops!

What did you bought lately?
