Overall, we have a story of a Cat that comes in the afterlife and has to wait 7months to go back to visit it’s owner; he decides to take a job with the Messenger Cats where it will be granted 5 tasks, and after he complete all of them he can bypass the system and visit it’s owner.
His job as a messenger cat is to transmit messages between living customers & their deceased loved ones (or a living someone, but only under specific conditions).
I loved the cat POV; it was such a comforting read. I loved everyone getting their message in one way or another.
The finale where he finally go back to her had me bawling- I need more stories like this. I love the idea of messenger cats as a whole; having lost a precious cat myself, I would love to have a message getting to me from her.
