Mini Reviews ☆ Ève paradis, How can I help you & The Cousins

Good morning!

I’ve finally been finishing some books! Went from 6 books behind to 3 books 👏🏼 thanks to the audiobooks who saved me a bit, ahah

Ève Paradis, Reynald Cantin
3 ⭐️ / 5 stars

I wanted to read this one for the nostalgia, there was this one scene that I kept remembering all this years- albeit having read it between 2010-2012 (turns out I only read the second one?) so I finally got the whole trilogy for the first time … but man was it long to read 😅 I struggled. While it’s old, I feel it’s an important one to read for teenagers concerning young pregnancy with both abortion & labor detailed.

How can I help you, Laura Sims

I loved the dual perception of Margo & Patricia! I fear it might be because of the audio & me multitasking, but I didn’t really feel the suspense; although it was creepy for sure knowing Margo’s past and what was in her head. I didn’t saw the plot twist coming, in truth I thought it was gonna end the other way around.

The cousins, Karen M. McManus
4 ⭐️ / 5 stars

I loved the multiple POVs so much! We get both past & present, where everyone is obsessed with the Stories family. I couldn’t wait to discover what happened with the grandma, and which rumors ended up to be true.

Have you read any of these?
