Mini reviews ☆ The love hypothesis (reread) & We’ll prescribe you another cat
Helloo everyone!
Here’s to my first reviews of the year ✨ I twinned both books finished so far as the first one had been a reread

The love hypothesis, Ali Hazelwood
Storygraph ; 5 ⭐️ / 5 stars (reread, first read in 2022)
First read of the year, an audiobook & a reread. This served two prompts in my Bookish Chaos server challenge (read an audiobook & finish a book within a month).
God I love this book! Grumpy x Sunshine romance, this book inspired most of the post about my favorite moments in books. The part where we get deep into why Adam is the way he is, how is mentor treated him.. chef’s kiss.
“Carry yourself with the confidence of a mediocre white man”

We’ll prescribe you another cat, Syou ishida
Storygraph; 5 ⭐️ / 5 stars
Finishing a serie I started in 2024. This served again two prompts in my bookish Chaos server challenge (Read a book you meant to read last year & read a cat with a cat on the cover/in the story)
The doctor keep making me laugh how he listen to his patients and go “hmm.. BRING THE CAT!” to the nurse right away 🤣 everyone always confused it’s a real cat. I love how we get to learn how to care for a cat and tidbits about them through reading the characters discoveries. I’ll admit it took me way too long to understand how the clinic worked, although we got the nurse Chitose backstory in the first tome; this one finishing on the Dr. Nikké.
“There are many cats in this world, and every cat is just a cat. But when you care for one, that cat becomes more than ‘just a cat.’ It becomes therapeutic. When you’re having a hard time or you see difficulties on the horizon, you don’t have to tough it out.”
Have you read these?
Fab review! I’m glad We’ll Prescribe You Another Cat was a winner for you… I’m looking forward to get a copy as I really enjoyed the first book. xx
Yes you should! I just started collecting these japanese fiction books 🤭 and dedicated a space for them on my shelves
