My 2024 reading goals

My 2024 reading goals

Good morning!

Yes, I’m quite early this year with my reading challenges for the new year.. but truth be told it’s been like 2months already that I had the picture saved and waiting to be posted 😂 There’s 3 months left to 2022, so Ithink it’s safe to do it now, ahah!

I had a new planner, that i’m finally gonna start next month in November, so i’ve been excited and been making my pages (that I was already ~3months ahead on); I based myself on this current year’s goal to forge it.

★ Storygraph Goal (40 books; Lang/Format)
I figured I wasn’t gonna make it this year.. so I just went ahead and retry it for 2024 – knowing it’s the release of TOTK that made me late.

★ More Non-fictions
Out of the unusual genres that i’ve slipped in this year, a good portion were non-fictions. Therefore, I’m gonna skip reading more broadely and just read more non-fictions instead.

★ 4 rereads
Slowly getting my rereads up again, passing from two to four.

★ 2 Audiobooks
While Ebooks and physical are my typical, I nearly don’t get audiobooks enough. As someone who struggles to sleep, game alot, I feel the need to improve that. Though im super picky with the narrating voice, so it’s tedious to get to pick ONE.

★ 1/3 of French books (13 books)
I’m not ready to give up reading in french just yet.. and I found a new serie of books that I like about horror spin on retellings! If I can’t get myself to do half and half, i’m hoping to get atleast a third of it?

Do you have challenges or goals for 2024 already?

  1. Woohoo you posted this! Your 2024 reading goals look pretty exciting! I don’t have any reading goals set for the next year yet, but I hope I can achieve my 2023’s goal of reading 50 books. I am a little bit behind but I am hoping I can catch up during the long weekends.

    1. I’m gonna get to a few audiobooks so I can play in the same time, hopefully itll helps! 😅 I keep going up to 2books behind

  2. I really need to do more rereading. I used to, but lately I’ve been distracted by wanting to read all the new books! I’m picky about narrators too, it’s important to find ones that work for you! Good luck with your goals 🙂

    1. Thank you 🥰
Yes I used to reread all the time as a teen! Super bummed I dont do anymore.. i feel the need to, but for some reason I dont follow through 😅
