My rated favorite Sims 4 packs

Helloo! so I did caved again and bought some more Sims 4 game π I now have a total of 41 installed..
I just got Life & Death aswell as the crystal collection yesterday so they won’t be in rating.
The way I play my game; I mostly use my packs with the new elements or furnitures/clothing added.
The only one I can say I regret a little bit is Strangetown, apart of the new careers that I love, i’m not for a storytelling pack on it’s own. The world gets annoying super quick with the possessed sims & plant clogging toilets.
Must haves;
1- Seasons
2- Cats & dogs
3- Country Living: I just LOVE the fact we can have cows, llama & chickens! The world for this one is super cute and we’re able to make jams & stuff.
4- Go to work: love me some playable workplaces! The medecine & scientific career is my favorites, didn’t play much with the detective one.
5- High school years: although I find it gets annoying sometimes, I love that we can go to high school with our sims! It opens up more teens gameplay- and I love the new tech stuff!
6- university: same reasoning as HSY, loved this one in the other installments aswell as the new career paths.
7- paranormal: the OG one, love the furnitures added and the new ghosthunting career. You can have haunted houses!!
8- knitting: love plopsy! The new clothings you can make is my favorites.
9- Horses: lower on my list, as I can’t say I get my sims horses often rather than cats or dogs ..
Favorite paranormals packs;
Sims 3 paranormal was my favorite, I do love me some occult sims.
1- Mermaids: I love the beach so much, this world is so big!
2- Warewolf: although the world for this one is rather small, I love exploring the tunnels aswell as the new collectionable items with the added story.
3- Witches: hate this world, too small. However, you get the “occult shopping district” and love me some potionmaking skills.
4- vampires: hate this world too. Not as develloped as the others, though it make sense as it was the first one we got.
Okay/uses sometimes;
1- For rent: very buggy at first, but love having appartments and create little neighborhoods
2- Ecology: love the careers, the new skills and the community aspect.
3- City Living & Get famous: love CL world, don’t use the second but I feel the two go well together. While I do love the festivals.. it can get annoying as there’s so many now
4- snowy retreat: Love the new outdoor clothing, ain’t one to travel my sims alot however.
5- interior design: mainly use the furnitures
6- jungle: love the new dishes & salvadorian history. Really fun when I decide to let my sims on vacation and get the different treasures and new collectibles.
7- growing together
8- restaurant / Spa: again I don’t travel much to the districts.
I am probably forgetting some, aswell as the distinct feature of some if them- as I might not realise all the elements it gave us. As I get them all working together for years now, it can be harder to remember each of them π
Which ones are your favorites, Musts haves?
Do you regret buying any ones?
I love Sims, but the 4th game is way too buggy for me. No matter how much I’d try to go around, they get pretty annoying, especially on longer playtime.
For the expansions and game packs, I regret buying most of them, at least for the price I did. Some packs are fun, yes, absolutely so. I love my vampires the most, ngl, it’s just so sad the game itself is unplayable for me because EA can’t fix their own spaghetti code π₯²
I’m waiting for the next life simulation game made by devs who can fix their own stuff properly and is actually working </3
Aww yeah that’s such a bummer! Paralives is coming soon ive heard- and all updates are free!
I honestly don’t see myself in buying any more of their packs or expansions, especially not as long as they can’t even fix the released stuff. Free updates doesn’t necessarily mean all the bugs get fixed overnight. As sad as it is for me to stop playing the game altogether
Yeah no I get you, paralives in a new indie game on steam
Oooh, gotcha!
