Neurodivergent brains create « different » bodies?

Good morning!

The other day on tiktok* i’ve fell on this dude explaining how supposedly people with a neurodivergent brains also present different body characteristics than “normal” – for exemple having more flexibility within their joints, when however wearing them out often because they’d feel stiff..

* I have a wierd memory.. so many times has I told someone “Hang on, I have something for this..” followed by endless scrolling because not only did I forgot who posted it, but I also underestimated how long it had been 🤣 A couple days transform in a month or two..and ofcourse I didn’t bookmarked it or anything.

That’s interesting, and also caught my attention because growing up, i’s have a tic of always needing to roll my wrists before being able to write anything on paper. Why? No idea. I just needed to do the rotations – which claimed to be very odd from my peers, nobody ever did that.

Another exemple, since my youth i’d wake up to random body parts bothering me or slightly hurting: wrists, knees, ankles.. just now my left shoulder started hurting for no reason 🤷🏽‍♀️ I wanted to use that arm to clean something and noticed it was painful with the applied pressure- I know that I haven’t fell nor anything else.

I’d usually slap a brace on it and call it a day, often wearing them through sleeping although they tell you not to do that, because it was our normal and it stop bothering me. My bothering wrist gets crackly after I put my brace on.. something I recently noticed.

Whenever id wear my braces to work, my loving coworker always asks me what happen, to which i’m like “eh? Nothing” and she’s like “what do you mean nothing??” *points at the brace* to which I’m like eh- idk. Woke up like this 😂

Ofcourse it makes sense! Our brain is controlling everything, If we are born neurodivergent, why wouldn’t our body be made special too? We think differently, so logically yes, our body should also act differently.

Falling on that specific tiktok really was a lightbulb moment, while also kinda proving that I was a neurodivergent too albeit not otherwise diagnosed – because of all the evidences i’ve experienced. And have you seen the eyes rolling difference?!! Omg I was shook. Definately team literal roll instead of looking up.

What do you think, could it be possible?

Have you experienced something that before?
