Good morning!
As book bloggers, we hear people talk about new releases left and right- everybody just seems to know which and when new books gets out.. while i’m living completely under a rock and never know anything 😅
The only way that I see them is by reading posts’ in the blogosphere, thoses that seem good gets added to my “virtual wanna read” list and then basically gets forgotten until I see them post-release and remember «Ah yeah! I’ve wanted to read that one».
Related; Favorite book couples i’ve read this year
While it’s definately not the highest number of new releases that i’ve read in a year, as technically I read more in 2020; It is however the first year that I do so without Netgalley or any other means to get arcs. While I do have one last book on my account to get to, I read my last arc in December (At first Sight, that was getting published in April 2021).
The only book that I knew about from the author’s posting and was waiting un-impatiently to get was The comfort book; All the others ended up being out of pure luck, from my 23 books that I read 😅 I bought & read them without really realising that they were new releases.. so on that context, going on my 6th book published in 2021 is quite impressive to me!
