Randomizing my TBR #41 | June 15th, ’25

Hey friends!
We did it- 40th posts!! We just love books so much okay.. and every day there keeps being published and… yeah i’m never going to be under 1000s at this point.
So anyway- truth be told we may see doubles as at this point I don’t quite rememeber what books we’ve seen on before.. and hey, I can always change my mind and remove them after all!
This TBR game/whatever you wanna call it – is entirely my own idea (though the concept of TBR games are not original). You are more than welcome to do it yourself, but I would like credit; @DBsguidetothegalaxy.
- The Steps; Go to your want-to-read shelf. Click to show 10 books (for Goodreads, that’s down at the bottom). Also on Goodreads, click to sort the books by random.
Now you have 10 random books!Decide what to do with them – remove, read right now, or just… leave it on the tbr shelf lol. What I did which isn’t very smart, lol, is create two additional tbr shelves.
So, because I use Storygraph, mine will be done a bit different.. as it doesn’t allow me to randomize 10 books just yet. So I choosed to be shown “earliest added”. I will then proceed to take the first 10 it gives me, depending on if I remember seeing them already or not.

I find that, because I went from super depressed to being way better as a medicated person.. sometimes those super-dark booked that I would’ve had love to read years ago aren’t interresting to the being I am now. And although being an adult, if the book starts super depressing with a divorce and yada yada… no. I don’t want. I got scared with “If I never met you” that I DNFed, I fear that the part of the beginning ends up waay too long for my liking before switching to the premise’s interresting story.
Have you read any of those?
Hey Kris! I’ve never read these books before. Also, I think there’s an issue with your blog’s settings. On the Jetpack Reader app, your posts aren’t showing up on your profile. Also I can’t “like” your posts on the website version. It still shows up as “loading…”. So strange… But anyway I just wanted to let you know!
Urhh – thank you!
You’re welcome 😇 hope everything works out
