Hello everyone!
As you’ll read this we’ll be in the middle of having a 8hrs drive to the next province over for our mother-daughter vacation! ☺️
We’re hopeful to get better weather than last year, where it reached 30’C + in August 🫢 while we still walked and got outside, we got a earlier date this time to hopefully not get the heatwave!
While last year I had a empathy overwhelm, this year I’ve hit a reading slump! I had started so good, now I’m constantly in a state of 3-4books under my reading goal 😬
I’ve kept reading, but I’ve definately been slower than usual; taking up to a week & a half to finish a book. My SG gave me an average reading days to 4, and it has been upped to 7. I still found most of them to be good, but I have the feeling that I should’ve had enjoyed them more you know?
Unfortunately for me; it also brought a gaming slump as well 😆 Usually I would branch off reading and turn myself to gaming instead… yeah, I don’t know what I wanna play either. I had picked up Coral island with the update but got thrown off, Infinity Nikki with the update doesn’t feel like it either as I don’t got any new quests. Now turning myself to Palia again with it’s own update. However those are online games so I won’t be able to play it driving to my vacation.
I’m hoping this vacation not only act as a reset between two jobs, but also kicks the bucket to my slumps too! Ofc I’ll be looking at local bookstores and will try to get a vacation haul by the end of it 👀
I will try my best to schedule some posts while I’m away, but if not, I might only be coming back on Thursday with a WWWednesday ✨
