Good morning!
As I had just finished See you yesterday, trying to fit it into my shelves I realized it might be time to do some reorganizing! Last time that I showed my shelves on here was in January, last unhaul being in July 2023 where I had only removed 3 books.
Related (insta); Shelfie before reorganisation, shelfie after reorganisation
I removed a whooping 18 books! 🙈 While it’s harder for me to pick french books to read, it’s definately easier to remove them. I also find that I prefer buying them off kindle so they don’t take room in my bookcase, ahah.. I shrinked down from three french cases to only two.
Most of those removed had been books I was collecting from atleast a decade ago; while I had been a big fan of Guillaume Musso, I can’t tell his books has been as much to me now. I did liked the few recent ones that I read, but nothing more. I also let go of the one I had on my Autumn TBR that I had intended to pick up after having DNFed it a good 5 years ago… I gave up ahah.
Books removed;
- Sauve-moi, Guillaume Musso
- Parce-que je t’aime, Guillaume Musso
- Et après, Guillaume Musso
- Je reviens te chercher, Guillaume Musso
- L’instant Présent, Guillaume Musso ← DNF from my Autumn TBR
- 7 ans après, Guillaume Musso
- La vie est un Roman, Guillaume Musso
- La Fille de Brooklyn, Guillaume Musso
- Au premier chant du merle, Linda Olsson. Translated “The black birds sings at dusk“
- Un Homme S’il vous plaît, India Desjardins ← loved the cover, not much the book
- L’attirance des contraires, Adele parks. Translated “The state we’re in“
- Un Jour, David Nicholls. Translated “One Day“
- On regrettera plus tard, Agnès Ledig
- L’année Solitaire, Alice Oseman. Translated “Solitaire“
- Appelle-moi, Sophie McKenzie. Translated “Trust in me“
- Tu me manques, Harlan Coben. Translated “Missing you“
- Un c’est bien, deux c’est mieux #1
- Un c’est bien, deux c’est mieux #2 ← removed from unread shelf
I’m gonna attempt to sell them off FB marketplace for a few weeks and if that doesn’t work i’ll just bring my lot to a thrift store. Sure got LOTS of room for my new books now!

Have you reorganized or unhauled books lately?
