Sunday Chat — About my vacation

Hola!

While I has been reluctive to join the Sunday’s Post meme for a while, this is now my second post (1st one over here), as things has been quite busy for once! and thus, I got lots  that i’d want to share with you all! 😄

* This is my version of the meme “Sunday’s Post” going around the blogosphere (without the this week’s/next week’s posts) hosted by @Caffeinated Reviewer.

As you may have guessed by the title, I’ve finally got my long deserved vacation. While I did took the first 2 days solely to rest and have changed my blog’s header -which was LONG overdue.. as it had been since Christmas-! I got WAY over-excited at the fact that I could finally paint my nails and keep them for the whole week 😅 (as we can’t have it at work)

★ I got to finish “Let’s talk about love”, which I reviewed on Goodread, and started Ruth Ware’s “The Woman in Cabin 10”.

★ Canada has opened the border of our 4 maritime provinces for us to travel to without the need to self-isolate for 14days — So; New-Brunswick (us), Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador aswell as Prince Edward Island.

So on tuesday we had decided to take a drive to PEI along with my two doggos for the day. Sadly for me, the little tourist’s shops that I liked got mostly closed off due to the Covid & loss of revenue; But the pups has been good bois and we got to see the house made of glass bottles! So a nice day nonetheless.

Doggos in their car seat booster; Kafei on left & Sheik on right.

★ I went and gave blood for my 4th time on wednesday ❤️  it was different than usual, as I was required to wear a mask and wasn’t able to eat & drink water on site (they still gave them away to eat in your car, though).

★ I FINALLY got to travel to my hometown and see my mom’s family aswell as my bestfriend, which I hadn’t properly seen in probably 2 years.

She had travelled the 3hrs drive to my town last year, but I had seen her maybe an hour as they had came to see a rock show. I got to spend an afternoon with her and sleep on her couch; we hadn’t done anything too too crazy than just relax, talk, and exchange our Christmas Gifts.. but it was so nice to be able to see her nonetheless!

New seagull art on the seaside/warf’s area that I hadn’t seen before; as it’s been so long that I’ve been back home.

How was your week? Anything exciting that happened?

  1. Wow! The seagull is so pretty! Love your blog’s new header, esp. the dash of pink in it! That’s great that you had a good vacation.
Meeting best friends is the best. I spoke to my best friend over the phone after a long time this week and that felt good.

    1. It’s been such a while that I didn’t went that there’s always new things being renovated and arts popping that I didn’t saw before; like that seagull!

Yes!! We talk everyday still, but on facebook message.. it’s harder to see her as she works mon/fri while i’m mostly always working weekends, and my sundays are mostly for sleeping ;/ plus the time to drive there & back, which is exausting in itself.

    1. Thank you Sophie 💕 they’re getting longer already.. I need to properly cut them again xd insane how quick it grows!
