Sunday Chat — It’s my birthday!! 🧁

Heello Hello!

I hope you’ve all got good holidays, or a good day if you don’t celebrate ❤️ As you can see by the title, today i’m turning 26!! I try to do a little something “special” on here every year; but I was quite pleased that it falled on a Sunday so I could just do a Sunday post this year (plus that’d automatically meant I was off! Bonus!)

★ It had been a while that i’m on my new medication now — went from 225 to 300mg, and i’m happy to report that all has been going good! 😊 Not only haven’t I gotten a crisis yet, but at work I don’t get easily “over-stressed” either.. (except Christmas’ Eve.. but that’s special 🙃 WAY too many people and we closed early a 5pm instead of 9)

 

★ Father is strict on opening gifts at mightnight on Christmas’ Eve — The first part of my day had been spent working, as of which I just HAD to wear my “Christmas’ Weein” sweather 😘 I was scheduled until 5, but ended up leaving 10mins from 6pm as we just got SO MUCH people that we barely even had time to prepare our close..

We just ate a meat pie with a cherry pie on the 24th, as we’ve planned a big chineese fondue for the 25th. After that we got quite the laugh trying to get a Christmas Photo with my two in front of the tree & unopened gifts.. while Kafei is a love and will stay still (as he knows that means treats!), Sheik is just not having it and won’t stay still with her ball & yapping xd We ended up the night playing my dachshund monopoly, which as you can see in the second picture, Kafei is a fan of. He stayed in my arms almost the whole game 🤣 I put him down and after doing his things (a drink & go outside) he was begging to come right back in my arms 🤷🏽‍♀️

 

 

★ This year had been a particular one with gifts.. As it was one of the only year that we got all the gifts home (from family up north, and all the deliveries actually came in time!) and it had been a very good while since we had so many gifts! The last time being when I was a child 😅

Everybody loved all the gifts they had — the weeins had gotten a pair a new leashes along with some treats & my grandma had made them a fluffy leopard blanket each. Kafei got yet another cow (how does this one even know it’s a cow is beyond me.. but he LOVES cows), while Sheik got a replacement of a moose toy I had first gotten in Newfoundland when I had went with a vacation with my ex.

As for me, i’ve got all that i’ve wanted! My 15lbs weight blanket that I automatically shoved on my bed, my Keurig K-Duo Coffee maker, some bluetooth pink headphones (noise cancelling!), aswell as a dachshund pyjama from my uncle & his wife.
