Good morning !
So I am super late responding to this tag, as Sophie @ Beware of The reader tagged me in July .. 😂 But I was waiting until I re-organized my shelves as I wasn’t too happy with how it looked and, I actually only got around it last week. So woops.
HOW MANY BOOKSHELVES DO YOU HAVE?
Sadly, I only own one so far.
HOW MANY BOOKS ARE ON YOUR BOOKSHELVES? OR HOW MANY BOOKS DO YOU HAVE?
I’d say a small hundread, maybe ? I actually have only a few ! I thought I had alot before joining the community but damn xD I have some peas to eat ahaha
(86 of them are actual novels. rest is comic books and old Walt Disney story books)
HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE YOUR BOOKS?
I actually don’t have a planned organisation. I do however they fit ! ahaha – bonus if I can gain myself a bit more space.
WHAT IS THE OLDEST BOOK ON YOUR SHELF?
Besides all the disney ones, that are from 1992, I have this big collection of famous stories that my godmother had for me and I just beg her to have it at some point. The book itself is from 1994 (same age as me) But contain stories from books of 1987, 1988 & 1990.
WHAT IS THE NEWEST BOOK ON YOUR SHELF?
In terms of publication date, “Heavenward” by Olga Gibbs who got released in 2018 – as of newly hauled, “How to stay Alive” by Matt Haig.
WHAT IS THE LONGEST BOOK ON YOUR SHELF?
“Le cercle des amis” (aka Circle of friends) by Maeve Binchy on my TBr shelf, with 800pages
WHAT IS THE SHORTEST BOOK YOU OWN?
Again, Olga Gibb’s “Heavenward” with 172pages. It’s a tall book, but very slim and written quite small.
WHAT IS THE PREDOMINANT GENRE ON YOUR SHELF?
I actually have no idea, before joining the community I had no idea YA was a thing ; and I am still a bit confused of what is or not. So i’d say a mix of YA & NA probably ?

I got #36 of the 86 novels (would be too long if incude all the rest).
It has fallen on “The best of me” by Nicholas Sparks. I barely remember it now, but I did loved both the book and movie; Of course it made me cry too !
DO YOU HAVE FAN MERCHANDISE OR ANY OTHER DECORATIONS ON YOUR BOOKSHELF?
Oh yes, way too much ! ahaha Mainly Animal crossing/Zelda merch, as per my “gamer shelf”. Then alot of mugs and various little things .. Lots of weiners too ahah, as most of my room to be honest.
