Heey all you lovely people !

This shall be my first try to conversation posts over here 🙂 I’m not quite sure how to proceed with this, so escuse me if there’s anything not quite “alright” with it, and maybe things will change in the next ones ahah ! if you have any tips on thoses posts for me, please let me know !

 

So, last saturday I actually got to unpack my Zelda retro sword and my ocarina I got during the holidays ! which means my shelves are now alright to be seen with my “gaming shelf” properly setted up :3

The sword is more down in the shelf but as you can see, I have mostly Animal Crossing aswell as Legend of Zelda merch. along with my Cubone plushie holding my Zelda hat or tuque; depend on the season. (also yes, I made a Cubone skull aswell you can see a bit of it on top)

Also, as you can see I’m one of thoses who have random stuff all over the shelves x)

also the bottom shelf is mostly old college books, my basket of phone cases and stuff like that .. on top of it beside my handmade Skull is my Weein’s belongings in that basket (old tags, balloon booties, toothbrushes, etc.)

  1. Your shelf looks really nice! As you know I’m very much both gamer and a reader 😀 our games are kinda hidden in a closet or just digital but we have plenty of consoles + gaming PCs to show off the level of nerdyness in this cave lol

  3. So cute!! I love the green of your walls! My bedroom was a similar color when I was in high school. Now I’m renting a town house and we’re not allowed to paint. So lame!!

    We also don’t have space for shelves 🙁 Once we buy a house, my fiance has said setting up my dream bookshelves is our first project!

  5. I played a lot of video games before I came to uni, but I’ve never been an online gamer. I like sims, I’ve played a lot of one-on-one fighting games on consoles, and I’ve played the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game since I was a kid. Some of my friends and I set up a DnD circle at one point too. Haven’t done any gaming in a while though, well except for sims over christmas.

    1. Oh! Yeah im more of a single player aswell.. nintendo, sims, GTA when I was younger, and a few on steams (Stardew valley, undertale & prison architect)

  7. I love your video game shelf (especially the Zelda hat, where did you get it?). I am a gamer! I’m currently on a Legend of Zelda kick. I’m playing Ocarina of Time, then Twilight Princess, and then I’m going to replay Breath of the Wild. I’m also planning on getting the new Pokemon game. Did you hear that there are rumors of a new Animal Crossing for the switch? I’m super excited for that! 🙂

    1. People were talking about it even before the switch came out ahahha 😅 however; I do not own that console yet and need to buy another wii u as my gamepad’s screen busted just weeks after I got botw 😪

      Ah thank you! I took it at spencers, aswell as my winter tuque which isnt pictured as it’s on the mirror of my vanity for easy access 😅

  11. I’ve always tried to arrange my books a certain way but it’s not really worked. Although I do have all my favourites on one shelf (: I wouldn’t call myself a gamer by any means but I do love old school PlayStation 1 games like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. I also play Formula 1 and Gran Turismo occasionally xxx

  13. Took me a while to spot the sword xD I am actually not a gamer, but my boyfriend is. So I sometimes watch him play games, and it’s sort of like a movie for me 🙂 I am currently playing through Uncharted myself though! Watched him play it before.. And I just missed it, and he offered that maybe I should play 😀

  15. I’m not a gamer.. at all! But my son and hubs are. As far as my shelves are concerned they now get prop too since I’ve got some fairyloot boxes 😉

  19. I am a reader who plays a bit of games from time to time. I am a casual gamer so the games I usually go for are a lot like Cook, Serve, Delicious. Although I am really into Stardew Valley too!

    1. yes !! that game is so great, you definately should look into Harvest Moons or story of seasons aswell if you have a 3ds or something. Animal crossing is also quite casual, now having an app.
