The girl from the well ~ Rin Chupeco ☆ Book review

Heey!

I really wanted to read this one- and look how gorgeous is this cover!! Although I was preparing myself for more of Okiku’s story.. although it was clear from the synopsis .. 😅

I’m not easily scared by horror, especially novels.. but I gotta admit as a night reader, between the moment I set the book down and get to my bed in the dark, I was feeling slightly uneasy 🫢

I’ve read another novel & heard alot about yuureis, so having Okiku & the other japanese ghosts in this novel was trilling! I loved hearing more about their legends and ways at the shrine.

We follow the novel through the Yuurei’s eye; Callie, Tark & Okiku were interresting to follow around and I was eager to find out what really happened and if he could be saved. I have a thing for exorcism in novels, especially when they’re detailed! Love when it’s well-written and has you on the edge of your seat!

Isn’t it? 🥰 at first I thought maybe it was gonna be a graphic novel, ahah- but no, apparently the other cover wasn’t available anymore (not gonna lie.. i mightlve kept it a bit for the pretty cover)
