The headmaster’s list ~ Melissa De La Cruz ☆ Audiobook review

Good morning!

A second audiobook scored for this year. I’m quite loving this routine of taking my sleeping meds, start my audiobook and go on playing on my ipad! Maybe a bit of listening with my eyes closed. Although I’m always scared of not remembering the info 🥲

I was pleasantly surprised to find podcast retranscription in this novel, I had actually no idea! The whole “looking into answer of murder case gone wrong” mixed with true crime podcasts are really my jam! I gotta say, I wasn’t thinking of this possibility at all as an ending! With the added effect of having someone not believing her version too!

From the get to I loved Spencer & Jackson- their determinations to help solve this crime she was sure her ex didn’t commit? Amazing! The ex in particular however?.. I didn’t particularly liked him, he behaved like an ass. As of which now it makes sense

This is the first novel, that I remember, that used a service dog and im totally there for it! I find the mix of service dog & animal needs was good and believeable.
