The Stuck at Home Book Tag!

The Stuck at Home Book Tag!

Helloo!

It’s been quite a while that i’ve done a tag, let alone a “still relevant” with current event one! 😅 Although i’m kinda cheating here because erm.. i’m actually not stuck at home and my coffee shop just kept being open all the way through the lockdown *ahah erhm..*

Anyway, moving on! I saw this tag first on @Paper Procrastinators ; feel free to go check out their answers.

The Rules;

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Answer all the questions down below
  • Pingback to the creator: Ellyn @ Allonsythornraxx
  • Nominate 5+ bloggers you’d like to know more about, to do this tag

The Questions;

1) What are you currently reading?
I finally picked up “A Totally Awkward Love Story” from my shelf after being on them since 2018 🤣  So that’s great! I’m enjoying it so far, loving the more immature humor this books has – it makes me think of “The Nerdy & The Dirty” alot on that point of view.

2) What’s your favorite ‘can’t-leave-the-house’ activity?
Gaming all the way -besides reading, of course.. hah!- , even if to be honest, I even bring my switch to game even on my break at work ahah; but it’s even better laid out on my couch with my two dachshunds on me.

3) A book you’ve been meaning to read for forever
Ouf I have a lot of that ones.. and of course it keeps adding up xd
Out of the top of my head, and from my shelf, i’d go with “Emergency contact” — or maybe any other Ruth Ware books, since I read “in a Dark Dark wood” in 2018.

4) An intimidating book on your TBR
Intimidating.. I’d go with my duo-book of Agatha Christie. But not intimidating because of how long it is (I mean.. kind of xd but there’s TWO stories in that) — it’s intimidating me because I know it’s a favorite author of my godmother, and she’s really loved in the thriller community… so well, what if I don’t like her book you know? I’m kinda scared to read it xd

5) Top 3 priority books on your TBR
Of course this is NOT set in stone in any way, but i’d love to get to “Emergency Contact”, “The Woman in the Cabin 10” (i’ve just been in the mood to read her books lately xd), and “When the Stars leads to you”.

6) Recommend a short book
Short can mean few different things, but if we go with page numbers i’m gonna go with “Reasons to Stay Alive” (266 pages)! Ones of the few non-fiction that i’ve read, and probably one of my favorites just because it even taught me thingsI kinda overlooked within my own anxiety.

7) Recommend a long book
Oh boy now this is harder.. while  I have lots of “shorter” books, I actually don’t have much of anything over 400-500 pages 😂  I’m literally quite scared of them.. unless we talk ebook or audio where I can’t see how BIG the book is.

Upon looking on my shelves, My french copy of “The State We’re In” from Adele Parks is quite massive to me (500-something pages)

8) Something you’d love to do while stuck at home
I would’ve loved to work on my blog more! I keep saying that I need to take a new cover picture because everytime I see my current one with the christmas tree & the village underneath it I kinda cringe… we are summertime now!! No more of that, please xd additionally, If I can go back to writting more post in advance… that’s be delightful.

9) What do you plan on reading next?
I actually am gonna be on a blog tour on June 11th! So yeah, i’m gonna start that next to hopefully be on time for my review 🙊 It’s the third book in the Celestial Creatures serie, “Harbinger” by Olga Gibbs!

Tagging everyone that wanna do it and hasn’t done it yet!
Stay safe my friends! xx

    1. Thank you!
It seems I wasn’t always like this xD like a few random bricks on my shelfs says.. but specially now that my reading changed, they scares me even more rofl — NOT EVEN gonna attempt priory of the orange tree, nuh-uh! (Good thing im not ready for fantasy either.. ahah!)

    1. Eheh same!! Im glad they made one with just the handlehand because honestly that’s my favorite over console xD what do you play?

  1. I’d be pointless to nominate me to do this one, I’ve only read one book cover to cover in the last decade ha ha ha. I don’t enjoy reading due to my dyslexia and lack of inner eye to bring it all to life

    1. That’s fair!
Maybe audiobooks could help you, if you wanna be able to read in one form or another – but if not, that’s okay too! ☺️

  2. Oooh spotted one book in French here LOL And I am no gamer so I’d never busy myself with it but I totally get why it’s a hit for so many!

    1. Yep 😅 ahah I got LOTS of thoses in my library- although im in a english fit right now 🤷🏽‍♀️

That’s fair! Ahah truth is idk if i’d be a gamer either if my uncle of only 16years difference didn’t made me play/gave me consoles and games back when I was a child.. ahah

  3. I’m so happy you decided to do this tag after seeing it on our blog! I had lots of fun reading through your answers! I’ve actually never read an Agatha Christie book either! I’m not big on mysteries or thriller though, so that’s why.

I also am now really intrigued by How to Stay Alive! I like picking up non-fiction every once in a while, so maybe that will be the next non-fiction book that I pick up!

    1. Ah, yeah that’s fair! I actually love thrillers.. but somehow never crossed her paths xd

Ohh please do and tell me what you thought of it !! I hope you’d like it as much as I did xx
