The Wall of Winnipeg and Me ~ Mariana Zapata ☆ Book Review
I’ve finally read my first Mariana Zapata!
After having it stand on my shelf for maybe half a year? I’ve finally read it! 😆 I cheated a little, as I included it in my Halfway reading goal stats | 2024 edition! When I hadn’t finished it yet- but I gotta say I wasn’t a fan of this print.. there was too much glue on the spine so it was hard to open, which was a bummer.

unhaul or keep? keep.
Would you marry someone for them to stay in your country? I honestly think I would. Ofcourse especially if I knew the person and we were close… which wasn’t quite the case here- she knew Aiden pretty well as she’d work for him for years- while he seemed to be quite ignorant of her.
I loved how their relationship progressed, it was adorable! Specially the scene in the elevator at the beginning of it- while i’m not really scared of the dark, I am claustrophobic, so the thought of being stuck in an elevator for a while? That’s it. i’m out.
Not only was it my first sporty romance, but also the first marriage of conveniance too!

The book sounds like the movie The Proposal, which is a favorite of mine. Putting it on my TBR!
