Together, Apart ~ Erin A. Craig (& 8others) ☆ Review

Helloo!

I’ve discovered this book via other bloggers, Ithink before it even got published, and finally decided to buy it around December/January. Short love stories in lockdown seems just like what I needed in times like this- and I’ve finally gotten to it and finished it! 🥰

At first, When I finished reading “Love, Delivered“, I was scared that I wouldn’t enjoy it as much as the others.. then again, I told myself that I’m new to short stories anthology; but it just wasn’t as deep as I thought the story would be (again- not used to love stories being short)

But in the end, I ended up swooning more than once and some absolutely won my heart. This book included both homo & hétéro relationships, and covered few different love tropes aswell — Which is pretty nice to have a collection of different stuff instead of all the same things over & over.

In the end, the only story that left me kinda “meh” had been the very first one, “Love, Delivered” ; The rest all being pleasant & swooning reads. Most characters I could really see myself in, in terms of being clumsy and how wierd things came out of their mouth was — it had some really hilarious moment

Spoiler warning (please highlight to read); My absolute favorite had been the end of “One day”, when she lists everything that will happen one day once quarantine is over, and everything we can wish forward. How One Day, this pandemic will end, eventually.

I also absolutely almost DIED in “The green thumb war” when the cat launched herself by the window XD Oh dear.. Really glad she didn’t got hurted though, but quite hilarious to think of.. (end spoiler)

My most favorite stories were; One Day by Sajni Patel, The new boy next door by Natasha Preston, The green thumb war by Brittney Morris & Masked by Erin Hahn.
