Top 5 Tuesday ~ Creepy covers! 🎃

Good morning!

We are back on this train, I had read one of thoses post- and ofcourse I wanted to join in on the fun too! Now bare with me, this has been slightly difficult as I needed to dig through my “Wanting to read” list on Goodread to find thoses I found the creepiest/most gruesome 😅

✿ Malignant Summer, Tim Meyer [GR]
Just- look at this. 🥲  Quite in-tune with the synopsis, the flowers coming from everywhere just gives me the chills.

✿ The summer I drowned, Taylor Hale [GR]
While not as creepy as the first one, this gives me a “Haunting of hill house” feel to it.. rotating the picture this way just make it so much more impactful than if she was horizontal as per normal.

✿ Chills, Mary Sangiovanni [GR]
I’d say this one make me think of Silent Hill, everything of nature looks just so hostile

    

 

✿ Nothing but blackened teeth, Cassandra Khaw [GR]
Truth me told- this one wasn’t on my want to read list until now.. I seen this book talked about everywhere- but I just can’t get myself to look at the cover 🤣 Definate not as gory as Malignant summer, I still hate this cover very very much..

✿ The girl from the well, Rin Chupeco [GR]
Just look. This Cover is absolutely smelling of haunted houses; so well made!

     

 

And thoses are my list! Varying levels of creepy/gory .. That I took some while to find 😅 as I actually haven’t read any horror books yet, and I didn’t really wanted to use the same ones everybody was showcasing too. And now i’m not confident they’re good enough. merp.
