Top Ten Tuesday ~ Books I never reviewed

Hey guys!
As I’ve been reading for like 25years, only blogging since about 6years, you’d understand there’s a LOT of books I haven’t reviewed 😅 We’re doing February 18th prompt; Books I Never Reviewed (Share the titles of books you never reviewed on your blog/tiktok/insta/etc. and if you liked them or not!)
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
-
- On regrettera Plus tard, Agnès Ledig (2016) — Loved it! However decided to unhaul it a few years back as I didn’t feel like keeping it, as the story don’t interrest me now.
-
-  La première fois de Sarah-Jeanne, Marie Gray (2009) — As I had also moved away from my home, her story really resonated with teenager me! However, this story also includes the sexual assault of Sarah-Jeanne, from someone she thought she knew inside the band she was part of- we see her grow through facing the terrible aftermath and finding her true friends. Still in my library, and my favorite from the serie.
-
- Volte-face et malaises, Rafaëlle Germain (2012) — I believe I might also have read this while nursing a breakup, which is also the situation of our MC! Adored it, believe I kept this one too.
-
- On fait l’amour, on fait la guerre, Mélanie Leblanc — The interresting part with this one is that you can change which way you read it ! We follow two MC, but they each are separated with the middle being them together. You can read her first and then him, vise versa, or even back and forth if you feel fancy! It also included a book playlist, and I really loved the concept of everything! kept that one.
-
- Jeune libraire cherche Roman D’amour, Joanie Mailhot Poissant (2015) — I think I enjoyed? However wasn’t interrested in reading the second book. unhauled.
I only did five today, most of the books i’ve read has been way too long ago that I don’t remember them nor my thoughts 😆 As it was book from before my blogging times, I wasn’t reading in english yet 😅 and they happen to be mainly from Quebec or France authors that don’t have enlgish translations..
What are some of the books you didn’t reviewed?
If you’re a long-time reader as I am, did you used to read a different language than now?
Oh I’m sure there are plenty.. I have been reading since I was little.
I used to be able to remember everything! And I got a very bad mental stage and it all dissapeared 🙈
I sometimes consider doing a ‘flashback’ reading series of revisiting books that I remember reading or were favourites over the years since I’ve been reading. It would be interesting to see what I think of them now 🙂
Yes! I had done two myself, although my taste remained the same, it’s really fun! Highly recommend
When it’s been too long, I completely forget details to review!! I used to be better when I was younger. haha
Same 🫣 i totally understand!
Since I started my blog, it’s mainly classics that I don’t review… Before, more than I can count haha. Quite a few in Spanish from my time in Uni, and a lot in Dutch when I was younger before I started to prefer reading books in English.
Wow, love how you read in different languages !
Just one Dutch and two Spanish books a year though… 😉 I much prefer reading in English most of the time.
That’s fair- still! That’s three languages, I can only manage two ahah
