Top Ten Tuesday ~ Favorite “Aww” moment in books

Hello my lovelies!

I’ve been thinking about this prompt for quite a while.. because ofcourse when needing to think about specific things in books- my memory went “POOF!” 🥲 . I know I must have SO much more, I could only find 4 of them.

When Adam stood up to his bestfriend, his brother, after Olive showed him the recording of what he said to her. All the disrespect and Sexual abuse she got from Tom, including him saying Adam wouldn’t believe her even if she told him.

« Adam exploded so fast, she didn’t even see him move. One moment he stood in front of her,and the next he was pining tom against the wall. “I’m going to kill you”, he gritted out, little more than a growl. “If you say another word about the woman I love, if you even think about her- I’m going to fucking kill you” »

The library scene was everything!! 🥰 Their gained proximity, all the confidence they made to each other- and ofcourse the dancing!! ..Before she fucked up and said something she shouldn’t had.

« One dance, he said. I’m certain he’ll let go, but he doesn’t, and I remain firmly in his arms. “I’ve missed it. This is.. nice.” It is. It’s so fucking nice. But it’s fleeting, like everything else about tonight. I can’t get too attached. »

At the ComiCon, when they danced at the Cosplay Ball; Darien standing up for her while not being able to tell her he’d been the one she’d been texting all this time. When he found her back at the camp, going to appologize and return the slipper she forgot — FINALLY revealing himself.

« He holds up a slipper made of starlight. “Well, ah’blena?” he asks, offering it to me. Ah’blena. There’s only one person who’s ever called me that, who’s ever wanted to. Carmindor. »

I actually couldn’t find it, so no quote for this one, though I swear I didn’t dreamt it ! Rosa had left the dachshund & baby for a few minute to come back to a slight fire; She urged in the house to go grab them and she found her dachshund Hot into the pram (that was on the ground) with her son, shielding him from the danger.
