Top Ten Tuesday ~ Mainstream popular authors I haven’t read yet

Helloo !

We are again late on this one, per usual I wanna say 🤣 But i’ve read quite a few posts this week and we all have a few in common! The only ones that i’ve seen that I did read has been Ruth Ware, Matt Haig & Frederik Backman. We are doing the November 14th prompt, Mainstream Popular Authors that I Still Have Not Read (Submitted by Rissa).

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

One thing we gotta admit before we start, is that I have WAYY more authors that I haven’t read- Cassandra Clare, J. K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzanne Collins.. except that A) I don’t read fantasies and B) I’m not actually interrested in them 😅

Again, this is not an exhaustive list, I went by order of what I placed in my virtual wanna read shelf last or the earliest – I’m sure I forgot a whole bunch that i’d be remembered seeing posts about said books!

  • Kristina Forest ; Her recent the Neighbor favor has looked interresting
  • Akemi Dawn Bowman ; I still need to read Starfish, that I heard had excellent anxiety rep!
  • Toshikazu Kawaguchi ; I see the Before the coffee gets cold everywhere, and god do I need to read them!
  • Sally Thorne ; Yep, the hating game is also still on my list…
  • Agatha Christie ; The biggest for last.. Her books actually scares me, as it was my godmother’s favorite author growing up- so I very much am afraid I wouldn’t like her for some reason? The latest I had placed on my list was the adventure of the Christmas Pudding (trying to read more holiday books, you see..)

Do we share any books we’ve yet to read?
Any in there that you really enjoyed (or hated)?

    1. Same! I keep seeing posts on them and I always go « ah right, I still need to read this! ».. and proceed not to 🤣

  1. Okay but I can’t wait for you to read Kristina Forest’ books, please do at some point? They’re soooo good, I just really love her work okay ahah <3 And Starfish has indeed excellent anxiety rep, at least I personally found it very, very good. <3
