Top Ten Tuesday ~ Read or avoided because of the hype?

Hey guys!

Today we are addressing October 1st prompt; Books I Read/Avoided Because of the Hype (and did you make the right choice?)

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I’ve been reading SO many posts for this one! You know me, I most likely forgotten all about which books were hyped or not 🤣 Everyone had LOTS of similar books on their list, many of which doesn’t apply to me as I don’t read fantasy.

So here’s my list, from those I do recall:

Read;

• The love hypothesis, Ali Hazelwood – LOVED
• Before the coffee gets cold, Toshikazu Kawaguchi – Very liked, not sure I’ll continue the serie
• Five survive, Holly Jackson – meh? was fine and enjoyeable but no more.
• Wall of Winnipeg & Me, Mariana Zapata – Love! Need to read more from hers
• Sadie, Courtney Summers – An older one, finally gotten to it and I love!
• The Midnight Library, Matt Haig  – Enjoyed, a good end morale.
• The No-Show, Beth O’leary – Forever salty for this one. My first Beth O’leary book, and i’m SO MAD nobody told me we were time travelling until the end.

Avoided;

• Legend and Lattes
• ANY Colleen hoover books – as i’ve read wierd blurb from the books, writing problematics relationships

I have still a LOT of hyped books on my list, as of which I haven’t read as of yet unfortunately.. As you can see, except for a few, I do tend to enjoy the hyped books!
