What gets me into a new anime?

Good morning !

Let’s talk anime today, shall we ? Alex and myself has been watching “My hero Academia” lately, and i’ve been HOOKED — craving watching it and keep thinking about it.

So what interest you in a new anime? 

 

Here’s my list ;

1- The adorable character, classic cinnamon roll too pure for this world (even if in some cases, it’s the dragon sin of wrath 😂)

2- Gotta love a cocky character in the mix with the adorable one, of course.

3- A purpose to the show, I generally don’t like fighting just for the sole purpose of it .. However, I don’t mind it if it’s to protect something or someone, etc.

4- If possible, I do love the little “eye-opening” and “the purpose of life” kind of lessons in the character’s dialects.. just little somethings that get you in the feels and just «You know what… that’s right.»

5- As with all the things, really, I won’t spite on some romance ! give me the soulmates, please.

 

Of course there’s always exceptions, but generally this are the things that really are a win for me when i’m watching animes !

  1. I’ve only watched one anime that I could remember, so they’re not really for me but great reasons to watch them! Maybe if I find an interesting one in Netflix I’d give one a chance.

  2. Hmmm I haven’t watched anime in a while because I’m not sure where to watch it. Netflix doesn’t have any I’m interested in. Honestly though I love your reasons! I love pure characters who have heart breaking pasts. I love friendship and relationships. Some fantasy or magic or something like that. Actually I need to figure out where to watch some! I do have a small list I want to see like Black Clover and Yona of the Dawn and The Promised Neverland. Great list Kristina! ❤️

      Yeah.. Netflix had apparently removed my hero academia, which is what I had wanted to watch so I was kinda pissed xD Next, I know of Crunchyroll (again, a paid subscription thing) but i have no idea if what I saw was all their selection or if you have to pay for more (again, no MHA).
      So im settling for Alex’s website, though full of pop ups and not guaranteed safe. But we also mostly watch it together on his, so xd

    I’m always looking for an epic story that grabs me. The emotional arc of the characters. Etc.
