End of June, Start of July

Good morning,

Another month is almost completed, we’re ready to be moving onto the 7th month of 2019! Summer and it’s warm weather should be here to stay now, finally, and my week vacation is right around the corner – eek ! 🙈

Let’s see what june looked like for me, shall we.

June’s Habit Tracker ;

 

Events of this past month ;

This month seemed to have past both fast AND slow in a way .. My work hours had been dropped to a mere 30/32hrs a week, leaving me with THREE full days off – to the point where I absolutely have no idea what to do of myself anymore..

⇒ I’ve finished three books during the month; Where I Ache (review request), My heart and other black holes (library) aswell as the 5th tome of “Journal of Aurélie Laflamme” (my older Quebec french serie that I was rereading to get to the last tome that was published last October). I also DNFed one Netgalley book, Please send help, that the review will be up the 15th of July.

⇒ As I told you last time, on the 4th of June it has been officially a full year that myself and Alex has been together! 💕 Still staying strong though we don’t see each others as often as most couples .. as both our jobs and his studies do get in the way 😅

⇒ Kafei got his yearly vet appointment and we finally spoke to her about him peeing on a LOT of places, especially when dad goes away; asking her for tips onto how to stop him to do that. She ended up prescribing him some relaxants for 2months, just enough that he’ll stop caring “too much” about dad’s leaving so we can go in and change his behavior. We were not thrilled about giving him pills twice a day for 2months but hey it is working ! His behavior changed to be more relax, which relaxed his sister’s aswell – and he’s now peeing only once every now and then, which is quite the change of multiple times every day!

⇒ As you may have seen in my microdermal experiences post.. I have yet AGAIN lost that piercing 😓 while last time one side was not moving from my skin, this time I went to clean it and a little leg got out – I just pulled on it and the whole thing was in my hand. It gave me no resistance at all – the only thing keeping it there was the sides of the “hole” holding it in, the little legs didn’t grasped under my skin at all in 2months; so that’s a bummer..

⇒ I’ve cut my hair again ! It has been a while, and that was me trying to cope with the piercing being out ahaha.. but since it’s summer, it was starting to get hot and as my ends was bleached it was tingling in itself WAY too often for my taste ..

⇒ In case you haven’t noticed – I yet again changed my posts’ headers xD aswell as the site’s color scheme. I like it so much better now – it’s just blending together so much better ❤️  I love it!

⇒ Last but not least, the wiener race did happened too ! I ended up entering Sheik for the “Longest wiener” contest .. and I kid you not she won!! Well, they were three at eguality at 29″ from between the ears to the tip of the tail – but still.

Only myself and mom attended this year, but we had lots of fun ! It was hot, but not too-too hot to have me melting; so that’s good. My two behaved surprisingly well, Sheik only barked a few times (when ALL THE OTHERS were barking, in the only moment she could’ve.. of course she did not wanted to xd) and they were great with other people and dogs all around them. At the end, poor girl was so tired that she wanted up in momma’s arm (which is SO unlike her) and didn’t wanted me to put her down. We obviously all passed out and slept all the way home.

Finally, July’s pages! ;

 This is honestly my favorite Month’s Calender that i’ve done so far ! Doing the lines in Neon is so nice, as it’s spilling so much less than any other color – and we all know how we DESPITE when we draw something, and then we splosh our hand on it and it all spill everywhere ..

 

One thing that’s different in my spreads this time – I decided to remove the “myself” part of the Habit Tracker. I just don’t feel it’s necessary anymore, and I don’t really have anything else other than thoses 3 that was in that category that I wanna follow for now.

 

My watermelons ended up like such a fail 😂 atleast you can kinda see what it’s supposed to be so that’s not so bad but well .. I tried. As i’ve said in my #BookendingSummer intro post, I quite like having the progress of my events i’m participating in on the left of my planning page. So I can pull off exactly what counted for that event so I can see how many i’m at on my mininum of 3 posts more efficatiently.

 

  Surprise ! This month we are having TWO different kind of weekly pages. As I know I’m the kind of people who wanna write EVERYTHING that i’ve done “special” within my days, I went back to my first kind of weekly pages that i’ve done for when i’d have my week vacation with Alex; so i’m sure I’ll have more than enough places to journal what we’d do over there xd (yes, he did said that I may cross path with some ICEBERGS in the middle of July !!) — the rest of my weeks has the resumed schedule of the first weekly picture, strictly limited to one page.
