April ’24 Wrap up

Good morning!

Has spring been warmer for you guys? While we had some pretty days while I was at work, this past few days has been quite colder 😅 Still in the positive but maybe just 7 degrees celcius; I can’t wait for the pretty days! Though hopefully not too warm either, ahah

April feels; 

We celebrated the 9 years celebration of my mother’s kidney transplant! 💚 While that brought another set of problem; the kidney in itself settled incredibly well – since the start Doctors had told her it’s just like they placed one of hers back, her creatinine has been the lowest they seen in another kidney transplant patient. and even after 9years it’s still going strong! 👏🏼

This month it was also my rescue kitty that got 2 years old! Not yet out of his teenage years, but thanksfully close- just one more year! Last but not least, next month it’s their sister -my middle child- to turn 9 years old! you’d think I set it up but nope xD the cat fit nicely in-between the weeins without me realizing

 

What i’ve read;

I finished 3 books this month; 1 reread & 1 from my Spring TBR. I finished No Judgement, YouTumeurs #2, aswell as my reread of Eliza & her monsters. 

 

What i’ve watched;

Dad renewed a Netflix account (well. the first time I was paying, now it’s him), and i’ve seen that they put the complete series of Dexters again !! So i’ve been rewatching this one, and I can’t wait to get to the “surprise motherfucker” scene 🤣 I wonder how that’ll transfer in French. I also seen they put House MD, that I also would wanna rewatch after.

 

April’s Highlights;

♥︎ Just one post was skipped this month, so that was pretty good! Among the Randomizing my TBRs, and Top Ten Tuesday, this month i’ve shared; Trichotillomania Awareness road to a better MH, Books covers that looks oddly similar aswell as 5 New released book i’ve recently added to my TBR.

♥︎ While i’ve still been hooked on Stardew Valley, I’ve also been wandering around in TOTK again, aswell as thinking about restarting Ocarina of Time.

♥︎ I’ve joined a group targetted to treat other womens within my province, without their knowing, to spread joy as most of us tend to forget ourselves among taking care of others – kids and etc. So far i’ve gifted 9 women total & I’ve received twice! 😄 I like the concept, and ofcourse receiving random gifts by mail is always nice.
