#BeatTheBackList 2018 🐢
Heey everyone ! So after being dead for a while I end up posting quite regularly, aren’t you proud of me ?? 😄<<
! As many of you are aswell, I decided to jump in will attempt my best at #Beatthebacklist ☞ Pictures and challenge credits goes to NovelKnight, you can go on their page to learn more about it and enter aswell.
What is it?
basically it is a challenge where you priorise books from 2017 and below (where even if a translated book come to your language in 2018, you can still count it IF the original release was before that year). After you decide you wanna join us, a post shall be made and you enter that link on NovelKnight’s blog. That being done you get a team, at random, and every review that you will write will make points for your team.
Also, you can set your own goal as of what you wanna read (as long as it’s not a 2018 book), how many you wanna read and/or if you want additionnal challenges; There’s also a Bookstagram photo challenge assigned to it that you can participe in also; but I don’t think i’ll do that one.
My personnal goal
im in the luck for this one, as ALL the books that sits on my tbr are old released ! so that’s really a good thing for me who read translations heheh… you will get a full list on my tbr shelf post; I don’t know which ones in my long list I will get to next, but all of them counts, so yay !
Now I see alot of person’s having a goal in terms of one by week, but as I know im a slow reader and all .. I’ll go for a more decent goal for me for all 2018; 12 books, which would be one per month, will be mine 😊not too high but that’s a start – hopefully I’d get to achieve and maybe even go higher !

I am participating with the Dewey Dragons. I don’t have a list yet but I figure I’ll just start reading books I have.

I’m not doing any challenges next year but I am seeing all these challenges posts and it’s convincing me to maybe try one. I think this is a good one because sometimes with new releases the old books can get quite forgotten. But that won’t be the case for you!

Aweee I think I’m at 11? And it wasn’t even on purpose really, because I didn’t join Beat the Backlist until a few days ago haha. So we’ll see how I do now that it’s actually a challenge…I might panic and not read ANY 😛 And ohhh since it was originally published in 2016, I think it WOULD count!
It does !! In the rules it says that if it comes out in 2018 BUT same book was published originally in another language earlier – it does. Because heh, who can tell which version I did read? 😏 right?
Oh wow! Impressive, i have a goal of 12 so 😂🙈 how many would you like to have read? Hopefully you wont panic now hahah
Oh there you go! So it counts! 😉 And my goal is 25, but I’ll probably make it 50 if I hit 25 because I like to challenge myself, AND I’m crazy! 😂🙈
