#BeatTheBacklist Challenge; March update
Helloo my lovely people !!
Been a while since we talked #BeatTheBacklist on here eh?
If you don’t know what this is, here’s my first post of it, but basically it’s a challenge where we are challenged to read anything published prior 2018. If they are releasing in 2018, BUT have been published earlier in another language; it still counts !
Austine @ NovelKnight created this challenge. All you need to do to join us (you have until December 31st 2018 !) is simply to write a post somewhere on the internet AKA twitter, Goodreads, blogs .. watever; and put the link of that post onto the form here. You will then be sorted into one of the four groups, I’m a Book Bard 🙂 There’s also a challenge for the bookstagrammers where you get a prompt every thursdays.
Now that’s out of the way, let’s see how I did !
My goal I’ve gave myself was 12 books, so in short one per month. I joined this before I found the world of Arc’s … and I thought how easy that would be for me as I only owned backlist books as I read translations ..
*aherm* I really overthought my capacities 😂 I read, drum roll, a big zero so far .. To be fair « In a dark dark wood » would had counted, but didn’t as I didn’t started reading it in 2018. 😐 kinda my bad there, and then I got hooked in arc’s hell .. however two of them that I am currently reading do fall in the cracks as it was previously launched in english !
Whenever I finish reading my two arc’s I started, i’m planning on going to atleast one of my physical book; I’ve been wanting to re-read « Memoirs of a teenage Amnesiac », that I recall to have LOVED, to do a review of it on this blog. I’d atleast would like to finish one of them before going back to my other arc that’ll be archived in June .. and afterward hopefully i’d get more done .. and don’t request too many arcs, oops
I’m sorry to be failing you, fellow Book Bards !! forgive meee.. 😭

I have read about seven books so far, but I have books with many pages on my list, so I’m not very fast in finishing many books XD

I’m a book bard too! I haven’t been great at tracking my reading, but I know I’ve read some backlist boks at least 🙂

BAHAHAHA! This is exactly why I don’t participate in reading challenges–I can never commit to reading anything since I’m a mood reader. xD

I am not doing so well at the backlist challenge xD only one backlist book this month… I guess I do deserve to be in the last team (like I am xD ALONG WITH YOU :D) I have actually read like 5 books already, but just one this month is way too little (I read 9 ARCs… compared, that’s way too little xD)… So it’s fair! We are just not doing a good job xD
Yep,, we arent 🙈 but on the other hand, 5 total is actually not bad! Much better than me heheh.. but yes, little compared to your total read
