Blogging with Anxiety; Missing a Post

Blogging with Anxiety; Missing a Post

Hello Hello!

As you may or may not have noticed; I had skipped my monday’s post, thus having this one on a “spontaneous” day rather than on schedule. In fact, My brain has been too caught up into panicking rather than onto forming coherent thoughts & sentences or even find something to ramble about; and that’s okay!

My other “Blogging with Anxiety” posts; Feeling we’re not enough // Content Wise // Stats // Posts Paranoïa // Have I posted this before? // Can I Say that?

As we should all know, people with anxiety tend to love being in control.. thus feeling panic or un-eased at anything that they can’t quite control, or even slipping out of said control.

Something that I absolutely can’t let go of is my blogging schedule. It sort of act like my “safety blanket”, a kind of guarantee that i’ll keep blogging if I keep up with my schedule constantly.. which is kinda ridiculous. As bloggers, we know that a posting schedule is important, but what’s more important is yourself!

It is absolutely okay to skip a post here and there (and even take a hiatus if you need!); and no, it doesn’t mean anything. The fate of your blog don’t stand in wether or not you’ve skipped a post, but In yourself. You created that schedule, it is in yourself to modify it or completely switch it around as you please!

Your schedule should not be set in stone, nor mean anything on if your blog is a good one or not. Especially in a time like right now that’s frustrating and panicking in itself.. though it is something that need a conscious effort for us to let go, and won’t completely dissapear tomorrow; we don’t need that extra panic on our shoulders xx

    1. Good thing for you!
I hope I manage to get to the end of that « phase » too.. 😅

  1. “The fate of your blog don’t stand in wether or not you’ve skipped a post, but In yourself.” I needed to read this! I decided to post weekly instead of bi-weekly and I’ve been stressing about it, but our mental health is more important than keeping up with our schedule!

    1. Sentences like that just randomly pops into my head hahah 😂 happy to hear you needed it xx I quite frankly needed that too ahah!
Oh yeah definately! You can always revert back if it’s too much for you, at any given time.
