End of August, early september ..
Good morning everyone.
Here we are, a month passed us by again- along with the summer! Let’s face it it’s not really a change for me so to speak as sadly I didn’t got any summer holiday ahah; however, Alex do start college next week so one more thing we need to juggle with😪
How was your summer ? over here it was just .. way too hot. we reached many heatwaves upping 40°C + every times so eh. Not for me, i’ll happily take the autumn fresh air anytime now !
August’s habit tracker ;
First thing I gotta say, I got way less lazy with my blogging than last month’s ! Though while writing this on the 27th, I haven’t went back and returned my last 3 day’s comment yet (Should be done before it posts!). reading-wise however .. I had a blump – which is the reason under my DNFed book. And yet again as I said above.. it’s just impossible to walk the weeins when it’s 40 degrees out; even at nighttime it was just still hot and humid. I took the evenings where I could after finishing at 11pm where id walk up the road and run it down. In general, I think it still looks pretty good, maybe even better than last month’s ?
August’s events ;
⚓ Earlier this month, I did a talky post explaining what had happened before the 19th, which you can read here (#bookishwish, got a bit sick, I lost a dear one and finally gave blood)
⚓ Again, I finished two books; “La sirene et la licorne” my french F/F romance from NetGalley, and “The sea was a fair master” that was a review request. I also DNFed another NetGalley, which in the end just wasn’t a book for me, “Ghostheart”.
⚓ I’m currently reading a book for my first blog tour !! eeekk !! i’m so excited, the book is really good so far.
⚓ On that note, only 3 remaining on my deadline to read !!! finally. Two NetGalley’s; french copy of “When Dimple met richi”, and “The general theory of haunting”. Aswell as a review request; “Angels can’t swim”.
⚓ Haven’t heard anything on last month’s jobs I had applied to, and I went and applied to 3 different ones at our french hospital ! Next month will mark the one year that I had started where I am, which will grant me a raise but you know .. would be nice to have a bit more and hopefully only working daytime to fit better with Alex’s schedule.
⚓ Talking of him, we finally put that we were in a relationship together on facebook ahah as it was just saying “in a relationship” before; it’s more a “see that I am his and he’s mine” thing rather than a “Show me you love me by affiching it” kinda thing.

Phew ! I could have added quite LOT more to my wonderful list, there was so many awesome posts this month – but let’s keep it to 10 or we’d be here until next week heheh.
Onto the next month ;
I haven’t quite finished this part, as I still wanna get more quotes or inspirational things to write on the left. I’m also a bit dry rn on what I can possibly doodle in relation to “school month” .. mmh.. I also gave up the ruler on this one ahah – I find I much prefer it un-even (that backpack & apple looks horrible though xD)
My Habit Tracker remained quite the same as last month, but lines more messier. Oh and I added the books I DNFed to the same grade as if i’d finish a whole book, as we saw last month – DNF can still happens.
I mistakenly reversed the blogging pages and reading deadlines.. which ain’t a big deal. But yes, to follow my “school” theme, I did badly drew stars !! Like thoses you’d get when you do good; can you see which 3 posts will start next month ? 😏Sneakpeak !
So far only the blog tour is on my reading deadline, which ain’t too bad – Maybe I can finish my last ones on the previous month’s!
Lastly, if you wanna have a peak at my weeks, I did it free handed like last month but with no summery wavy lines around
