February wrap-up ♥︎

Good morning everyone,

Though this is technically the shortest month of the year, I gotta say it felt quite long to me.. While January had been a month of preparation and overdoing things, february on the other hand had been quite a draw-back by opposition 😅  Though we were so advanced that it didn’t really showed, which is a relief!

February’s feel;

I’ve felt quite sluggish, aswell as anxious- as what’s been happening at work had gotten to the point where it’s now toxic for me.. which is hard to face after that brought me so much happiness in the last 4yrs; alas I’ve been trying to seek another job & looking around. I’ve mostly applied for receptionnist jobs, which is quite closer to my accounting diploma than barista ever would be 😅 but also a few other things.

Thanksfully, after the middle of the month, i’ve started feeling much better! Looks like I just needed to rest and/or it was the end of my pills. Furthermore, I finally got some news back from one of the places that I applied; a pet store! The manager called me and I went to an interview at one of their location- everything happening within quite a nice timing, all things considering, i’m quite hopeful. I would absolutely LOVE to be able to work within the animal industry 🥰

What i’ve read;

I’ve finished 3 books this time; two from my shelves, Gardez l’oeil ouvert (tome 1) aswell as Today tonight tomorrowThen I pick to loan an ebook from my library, Survive the night.

Total books read now at 9 books on 30; 5 for English & 4 for French, 4 books for un-usual reads (true crime) and #BeatTheBacklist is now at 7. Thoses three little challenges be looking nicely so far, however I have yet to read an audiobook.. 😅  I find it so hard to pick one as I need it to be pleasing to my ear to actually keep me reading it.

February’s highlights;

♥︎ As I kept myself advanced with 5 scheduled posts at one point, my little sluggish weeks didn’t impact my posting at all – none were skipped! No Sunday’s Chat for this month, however I did share a Blogging with Anxiety – the fear of losing a post.

I had a “Valentines Day” posting special for the week; I did a Book Rec on best book friendships, the little things I enjoy in an erotica, aswell as 9 love quotes from books that I like.

♥︎ With mother, we decided to watch more of the Studio Ghibli movies this month, as I had only ever seen Princess Momonoke; We watched Howl’s moving castle, Kiki’s delivery service & my neighbor Totoro. We enjoyed all of them so far, but I gotta say Howls were a definite fave!

♥︎ This month, it had became clear that my myopia has grew worst- whenever I would be looking at something closely, and raise my head upward to look at the tv or something- it was hard to ignore how I couldn’t see until I “focus” 😬 As it hasn’t been more than a year since i’ve changed my glasses, this is a bit annoying; especially how my optometrist once told me my eyesight should eventually stop worsening as I grew up.. I’m now 27 and it’s still going down 🤣  (we still don’t know how bad yet- appointment is today)

♥︎ Although I’ve gotten another Ace Attorney game on my 3ds, I’ve left it out a bit as I got into a routine of doing my New Horizons dailies before work to play some Death Road to Canada on the evenings before going to bed 😅 And then I finally caved in and bought Pokemon Arceus… OMG i’m hooked! I love the botw look of it so much 🥰

      Until then, my hands is speckled red and itches 😅 ahah

  2. I’m pleased to hear your month picked up and thrilled to see in the comments that you got the petshop job you wanted!

    I’ve only seen Howl’s moving castle. I really need to see more Studio Ghibli.

    1. Thank you!! Im eager though quite nervous too.. going from somewhere you know like your pocket to something absolutely new (as much for tasks/customers/coworkers) is terrifying 😬😅 but iknow its the good decision and that workplace looks SO much better- especially in regards to what they give you.

      For some reason the style of cartoon of howl used to scare me away ahaha but no- I loved it so much! I found the others were okay but not so much more? Ofcourse the first one always feels special too ahah
