Finally Fall Tag đŠ

We are gonna do the âFinally Fall Tagâ today, that I first found on Heather @ The frozen Libraryâs blog; although the original creator is a mystery as the video was set on private, she found it through Mackenzie Laneâs video. Feel free to click their links to go check both of thoses girlsâ answers!
Â
1. In fall, the air is crisp and clear: name a book with a vivid setting!
I will keep screaming about that particular book, but Ruth Wareâs «In a Dark, Dark Wood» setting was just SO magical to me for some reason .. I absolutely adored that house of glass in the middle of the woods in late autumn/early winter.
Â
2. Nature is beautiful⊠but also dying: name a book that is beautifully written, but also deals with a heavy topic like loss or grief.
Donât keep me accountable for the beautifully written part (as we all know I have NO IDEA what is or isnât) â But a book I loved that involved grief from BOTH parties is Brigid Kemmererâs «Letters to the Lost».
Â
3. Fall is back to school season: share a non-fiction book that taught you something new.
Technically it didnât really âtaught myself newâ, but Matt Haigâs «Reasons to Stay Alive» gave me some light upon some of my depression/anxietyâs symptoms that my own psychologist kind of shrugged upon? Also some of the things he said in the book sort of just lit a light in my brain and I went âOooh!!đĄâ.
Â
4. In order to keep warm, itâs good to spend some time with the people we love: name a fictional family/household/friend-group that youâd like to be a part of.
Now, I rarely remember the family membersâ in my books .. mostly because well, I donât think thereâs really many in the books I read? (or you know.. I just pass over them xd). But Emery Lordâs «When We Collided» really struck to me with Jonahâs family. There was SO many of them (six to be precise), and each of them were just so present in the book and close with each other. It was really nice to read and man, being an only child I was kind of Jealous of that bond they shared đ .
Â
5. The colorful leaves are piling up on the ground: show us a pile of fall-colored spines!
Iâm gonna be bad and skip this one, sorry guys ! Not only am I writing this at midnight but erhmm.. I donât have much fall-colored spines to show :/
Â
6. Fall is the perfect time for some storytelling by the fireside: share a book wherein somebody is telling a story.
eeeh ⊠to be honest, the only one I can think of right this moment is Ruth Wareâs «In a Dark, Dark Wood» again..
Â
7. The nights are getting darker: share a dark, creepy read.
So, letâs not name Ruth Ware again đ Last thriller I read that blown my mind was Sophie McKenzieâs «Trust in Me». When I thought I found who the killer was⊠boy I was wrong, and I didnât saw THAT coming.
Â
8. The days are getting colder: name a short, heartwarming read that could warm up somebodyâs cold and rainy day.
I have to go with «When We Collided» again, this was the ONE book that I felt just so lovey dovey while reading; wanting to just have some fun and do things with my then-boyfriend. My heart kept bubbling of love as I was reading.
Â
9. Fall returns every year: name an old favorite that youâd like to return to soon.
Now thatâs easy! Another one iâll forever scream of â Josie Jaffreyâs Sovereign trilogy !! I just love her books so much, I canât shake them off. Specially this time of the year, I just really really REALLY wanna re-read them all back-to-back.
Â
10. Fall is the perfect time for cozy reading nights: share your favorite cozy reading âaccessoriesâ!
Blankets and my weeins, what else ?! đ Additionally, a good cup of coffee is great too.
Â
Â
11. Spread the autumn appreciation and tag some people!
As always, everyone reading this post who want to xx

I remember loving Sophie McKenzie when I was younger and I should read her books again! I have been seeing Ruth Ware’s latest novel everywhere lately DD: I love Kemmerer’s fantasy novel and now I really want to read Letters to the Lost as well. I love Matt Haig’s nonfiction! I read Notes on a Nervous Planet and it was fantastic.
Iknow! Ruth ware is everywhere lately, isnât it? đ I didnât even knew she had another book coming out until I saw them popping ahahah
Ohh I still have yet to read notes on a nervous planet! Isnât it like a « follow up » after Reasons to stay alive or something? đ€
I think my fav part of this was the dog pic! It sounds like you really liked “In a Dark, Dark Wood”!
