In 2022.. No more habit trackers for me!

Good morning!

Although I still don’t know what I wanna do in terms of challenges, or basically anything 😅, for 2022 yet- I know what I don’t want! Habit trackers are taking a go for me!

I’ve talked about how the first format I had was making me anxious on this post & this one, where I used to have a whole monthly page separately and color the squares.. but I often forgot about it.

In my next attempt, I dropped to only the necessities; Blogging duties (reply/return comments & bloghop), Reading & finally my yoga/walking that I put directly onto my weekly pages. That was a bit better in term of my anxiety level, as we’d look to only a week VS the whole month.. however now I felt kinda bad whenever I wouldn’t do as much as I would’ve had wanted, for various reason.

To be absolutely frank, my updated version took quite some time and I was growing bored of filling in all the little squares.. So I had been wanting to try it out without it.

My page was looking quite empty, so I tried a general square with “Memo/Reminders”; I have actually no idea what i’m actually gonna write in that area yet 😅 Looking for my monthly or Sunday’s Chat posts, I was thinking maybe recording what TV shows I’d be watching.. or even just “track” there and write which days I had done what, like exercicing or walking my dogs. We’ll see how the first month goes!

Though it sure feels liberating to me, i’m kinda scared too.. I do like to have some kind of “frame” to know what I should be doing, and i’m a bit scared that I would forget to do them if i’m not following it in my Bujo.

In another view though, I’ve had it in my routine for so long that it’s like an habit now- like posting on my blog, so we’ll see how it feels.. the first weeks sure would be hella wierd though 😅

For my bujo-ers.. how do you do your habit trackers?
Do they make you nervous too? Would you go without them?

  1. I get that feeling, and I’m definitely a forgetful person! I’ve resorted to doing a weekly habit tracker instead of a monthly one – it lets me change it every do often and it’s right there, so unless I forget my entire weekly list, I can’t really forget my habits. Although sometimes I tend to forget that exists as well. 🥴

    1. ahah mood! 😅
I always keep my Bujo open on my current weekly spread on my table because otherwise.. I might forget to write in it entirely :k
