Sunday’s Chat — 8 work days in a row, BIG eevee plushie & Staff party!

Happy Sunday, everybody!

This week has been a loaded one 😬 I’ve been barely reading at all, as i’ve been busy working 8days in a row, with one being a 10hrs shift. Come evening, I wasn’t really in the mood to read to be honest, going to bed as early at 10pm one night!

What I finished lately;

★ Glow up, all 3 seasons [Netflix; with mother]
★ You, season 3 [Netflix; with mother again]
★ Ace attorney trilogy, finally got the the last case of Trials and tribulations.
-I can now start my new game, The great Ace Attorney chronicles-

 

Currently obsessing about;

★ Christmas at Cockleberry Bay, Nicola May

 

 

As my holiday week is quickly approaching, along with my birthday, our Covid cases has been on a strike upward again.. which brought us the new Omnicron virus 😬 Last friday we moved up to “Grade 2” of our covid plan for winter time, meaning places like my Café where I work shall only work at 50% of their capacities.. this makes me wanna leave my house even less. The way this goes, I don’t think i’ll get to go see my family & bestfriend back home for my week off 😩

 

Before that though, I just finished working my 8days straight as I said above; My two days off were in time for our staff party.. And we were doing a gift exchange so I had a little room to go shop for my gift right before our event started – With the 20$ limit, I settled for a throw blanket that was 50% off.

As I hasn’t been in the mall for so long, I had been wanting to go check out Gamestop among the other things we needed.. and GUYS- look what I found! Eevee’s like the double of the size of my dachshunds 🤣 It was the last one and I had just been wanting to get a new plushie to sleep with.. I absolutely walked the whole mall with her in my arms

 

As for the staff party in itself.. because we were over 20 with the other store, it felt less fun than I anticipated. It was two separate tables, and I was personally too far from the ones that had fun (Anxiety had me wait in my car for like 20mins for my friend who ended up being much later than she had said.. 😅 So we were within the “last arrivals”).

Atleast The food was good, I had picked the BBq Nachos that I hadn’t had in forever and the gift I ended up stealing was a 3lb packet of candy with a tiny bath kit 👀 Better than the one I had gotten the last time ahah.. I also got to take pictures with my two girls.
