Happy July everyone !!
Today is our national Canada Day, happy birthday Canada! 🍁 (alas, im still working today and tomorrow on opening ahah)
Nothing to do with this post, but I said it anyway ahah! So, what’s better than a tag to start this month ?? As almost always, I haven’t been tagged for this; But I saw it on Clistebella’s blog and wanted to do it! So let’s have some fun ~ as always not tagging specifically, just feel free to do it aswell !
What book has been on your shelf the longest?
Let’s seee … My spiderwick chronicles serie (7/8th grade) ? or my disney books from when I was a kid (Just always had them.. no idea where it’s coming from ahah)
What is your current read, your last read, and the book you’ll read next?
I last read “The bakery at Seashell Cove”, I am currently reading “The Gilded king” and next I shall pick up “Valentine (act 1)” as per my review requests deadlines.
Last page: read it first, or wait till the end?
I like to end until the end, though I actually don’t care much of spoilers.
What book did everyone like, but you hated?
Not really “hated” .. but I have a long list of loved popular I don’t actually wanna pick up. like ever.
Harry potter, hunger games, twilight, game of thrones .. sorry guys ..
What book are you saving for retirement?
all those that’d be left on my tbr I guess ? 😂 I don’t understand this question..
Acknowledgement: waste of paper and ink, or interesting aside?
I used to never read them .. up until I saw a post someone I forgot did on funny awknowledgements ! Now I try my best to atleast give a little glance and not skip directly.
Which book character would you switch places with?
Mmmmmh… Maybe Rosa from “The Cornershop in Cockleberry Bay” ?
I mean; my own shop (no spoiler what it end up being 😘), a dachshund named hot by my side, being near the SEA (!!) and awesome friends & lover!

Sorry.. my books are either bought by myself, given by my godmother or through NetGalley/review requests .. nothing interesting there.
Have you ever given a book away for a special reason to a special person?
Nope. Iknow, shocking for a book blogger 😂 I’m just not surrounded by readers, okay ?
Which book has been with you most places?
I don’t know.. only one in my mind would be “The dinosaur feather” as it ended up falling off stairs 😂 And I was mostly dragging it around as I wasn’t liking it and took MONTHS to finally finish it ..
Any “required reading” you hated in high school that wasn’t so bad later?
I don’t go back to what they were forcing me to read then … plus I skipped most of them as I wasn’t as strong as everybody else and teachers gave me “passes”, coming from a mostly french town xD
Used or brand new?
I don’t mind too much, though I tend to go for brand new ? If I wanna have french books, they just .. aren’t in thrift shops. I could buy some through fb market but, I haven’t saw one I really wanted there yet.
Have you ever read a Dan Brown book?
No idea who this is, so prooobably not.
Have you ever seen a movie you liked more than the book?
Only some cases where I don’t wanna risk reading the book in case I can’t keep up and fall off the train and DNF it ? ; Which I did liked the movie(s).
I’m thinking of “Miss Peregrine’s home for pecular children” and “lord of the rings”
Have you ever read a book that’s made you hungry (cookbooks included)?
Nope.. not that I can think of.. And I don’t really read cookbooks x) I’d just flip through it and maybe take a peak. Nothing more than “oh that looks good!”
Who is the person whose book advice you’ll always take?
My godmother, of course ! She’s the one to initiate me to it. Then my fellow loving book bloggers come in here too ❤
Is there a book out of your comfort zone (e.g., outside your usual reading genre) that you ended up loving?
YES !! Do you see me coming on my high horse ?
.. hahah yep, “Heavenward” again ! Though another fantasy that haven’t failed me yet would be “The Gilded King”.
