Keep or unhaul? Unhaul.

While I know it’s a real thing people do in real life, just HOW did he managed to go that long without either three of them get suspicious??? He was really well written, in a way that his character was believable to both the others in the novel & us. It really got me wonder what really happened on Valentine’s day..

While I do appreciate him trying to do the good thing and only being fateful to one woman- each of the three having their “purpose” (a gf, a steady one night stand & a friend), I hate that he’s being a little narcissic and tell each of them he love them?! And making them believe he does, reacting nervous and little details that would indeed point that way.

Ofcourse that leads to the two being rejected as more than friends, but being told he do love them and desire them, want to take the place of that 3rd one who doesn’t know yet. Not quite what I was expecting from this novel, there’s a bit too much focus on the rivalry of the three to my liking- gimme the tea already! I thought something was suppose to go on.. not just how he promise to love the three separate woman, but “ohno I can’t..”

They all got something I’ve liked- Siobhan’s no shit attitude, and the more relatable moment came from Jane: when her customer literally had to ASK to be her friend as she didn’t clued it in 💀 Having been told so much that she was unloveable and all that negativity.

Okay so I ended up flipping through and not read the entirety of the thing- the relation to each other wasn’t what I had been thinking. Though to be fair, if you’d have mentionned anywhere we were gonna ping pong between time travelling back & forth, i most probably wouldn’t had picked this book up.

The realisation that no, they were NOT all being with him at the same time came in way too late in the book, maybe 70%! Here I was thinking we’d have a 2000s “John Tucker must die” situation where all three got together to wreck this dude. So many times did I thought he WAS cheating and saying garbage, wanting to throw the book and actually- no you’ve just been fooled. Okay.
