The Stuck at Home Book Tag!

Helloo!

Itā€™s been quite a while that iā€™ve done a tag, let alone a ā€œstill relevantā€ with current event one! šŸ˜…Ā Although iā€™m kinda cheating here because erm.. iā€™m actually not stuck at home and my coffee shop just kept being open all the way through the lockdownĀ *ahah erhm..*

Anyway, moving on! I saw this tag first on @Paper ProcrastinatorsĀ ; feel free to go check out their answers.

Ā

The Questions;Ā

1) What are you currently reading?
I finally picked up ā€œA Totally Awkward Love Storyā€ from my shelf after being on them since 2018 šŸ¤£ Ā So thatā€™s great! Iā€™m enjoying it so far, loving the more immature humor this books has ā€“ it makes me think of ā€œThe Nerdy & The Dirtyā€ alot on that point of view.

Ā

2) Whatā€™s your favorite ā€˜canā€™t-leave-the-houseā€™ activity?
Gaming all the wayĀ -besides reading, of course.. hah!-Ā , even if to be honest, I even bring my switch to game even on my break at work ahah; but itā€™s even better laid out on my couch with my two dachshunds on me.

Ā

3) A book youā€™ve been meaning to read for forever
Ouf I have a lot of that ones.. and of course it keeps adding up xd
Out of the top of my head, and from my shelf, iā€™d go with ā€œEmergency contactā€ ā€” or maybe any other Ruth Ware books, since I read ā€œin a Dark Dark woodā€ in 2018.

Ā

4) An intimidating book on your TBR
Intimidating.. Iā€™d go with my duo-book of Agatha Christie. But not intimidating because of how long it is (I mean.. kind of xd but thereā€™s TWO stories in that) ā€” itā€™s intimidating me because I know itā€™s a favorite author of my godmother, and sheā€™s really loved in the thriller communityā€¦ so well, what if I donā€™t like her book you know? Iā€™m kinda scared to read it xd

Ā

5) Top 3 priority books on your TBR
Of course this is NOT set in stone in any way, but iā€™d love to get to ā€œEmergency Contactā€, ā€œThe Woman in the Cabin 10ā€ (iā€™ve just been in the mood to read her books lately xd), and ā€œWhen the Stars leads to youā€.

Ā

6) Recommend a short book
Short can mean few different things, but if we go with page numbers iā€™m gonna go with ā€œReasons to Stay Aliveā€ (266 pages)! Ones of the few non-fiction that iā€™ve read, and probably one of my favorites just because it even taught me thingsI kinda overlooked within my own anxiety.

Ā

7) Recommend a long book
Oh boy now this is harder.. while Ā I have lots of ā€œshorterā€ books, I actually donā€™t have much of anything over 400-500 pages šŸ˜‚ Ā Iā€™m literally quite scared of them.. unless we talk ebook or audio where I canā€™t see how BIG the book is.

Upon looking on my shelves, My french copy of ā€œThe State Weā€™re Inā€ from Adele Parks is quite massive to me (500-something pages)

Ā

8) Something youā€™d love to do while stuck at home
I wouldā€™ve loved to work on my blog more! I keep saying that I need to take a new cover picture because everytime I see my current one with the christmas tree & the village underneath it I kinda cringeā€¦ we are summertime now!! No more of that, please xd additionally, If I can go back to writting more post in advanceā€¦ thatā€™s be delightful.

Ā

9) What do you plan on reading next?
I actually am gonna be on a blog tour on June 11th! So yeah, iā€™m gonna start that next to hopefully be on time for my review šŸ™ŠĀ Itā€™s the third book in the Celestial Creatures serie, ā€œHarbingerā€ by Olga Gibbs!

Ā

Ā

Tagging everyone that wanna do it and hasnā€™t done it yet!
Stay safe my friends! xx

    1. Thank you!
It seems I wasnā€™t always like this xD like a few random bricks on my shelfs says.. but specially now that my reading changed, they scares me even more rofl ā€” NOT EVEN gonna attempt priory of the orange tree, nuh-uh! (Good thing im not ready for fantasy either.. ahah!)

    1. Eheh same!! Im glad they made one with just the handlehand because honestly thatā€™s my favorite over console xD what do you play?

  1. Iā€™d be pointless to nominate me to do this one, Iā€™ve only read one book cover to cover in the last decade ha ha ha. I donā€™t enjoy reading due to my dyslexia and lack of inner eye to bring it all to life

    1. Thatā€™s fair!
Maybe audiobooks could help you, if you wanna be able to read in one form or another ā€“ but if not, thatā€™s okay too! ā˜ŗļø

  2. Oooh spotted one book in French here LOL And I am no gamer so Iā€™d never busy myself with it but I totally get why itā€™s a hit for so many!

    1. Yep šŸ˜… ahah I got LOTS of thoses in my library- although im in a english fit right now šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

Thatā€™s fair! Ahah truth is idk if iā€™d be a gamer either if my uncle of only 16years difference didnā€™t made me play/gave me consoles and games back when I was a child.. ahah

  3. Iā€™m so happy you decided to do this tag after seeing it on our blog! I had lots of fun reading through your answers! Iā€™ve actually never read an Agatha Christie book either! Iā€™m not big on mysteries or thriller though, so thatā€™s why.

I also am now really intrigued by How to Stay Alive! I like picking up non-fiction every once in a while, so maybe that will be the next non-fiction book that I pick up!

    1. Ah, yeah thatā€™s fair! I actually love thrillers.. but somehow never crossed her paths xd

Ohh please do and tell me what you thought of it !! I hope youā€™d like it as much as I did xx
