Good morning!
We’re back with TTT, which we haven’t done since the Spring TBR 😅 I just saw this topic and instantly wanted to do it!
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
June 8: Books I Loved that Made Me Want More Books Like Them (The wording is weird here, so if you have a better way to say this please let me know! What I’m thinking is… you read a book and immediately wanted more just like it, perhaps in the same genre, about the same topic or theme, by the same author, etc. For example, I once read a medical romance and then went to find more because it was so good. The same thing happened to me with pirate historical romances and romantic suspense.)
I have quite some variety; some books are wanting some by the same author, while others are craving other by the same topic, with one being more of the genre. They are also not in any particular order, just randomized on how I remember them.
🍉 In a dark, dark wood – Ruth Ware [X]
This was my very first Ruth Ware that i’ve read, translated in french, and I loved it so much that I wanted to read more by her! I since then read most of her novels, missing The lying game & Turn of the key.
🍉 First in – Danika Bloom [X]
I have not yet gotten into reading more.. BUT! After having gotten an invitation by the author of trying out her book, which was my very first erotic romance.. I discovered that I actually liked that. It lighten up a lightbulb in my head that you know, some of them actually have a love story and isn’t just “Sex for sex”; which frankly idk why I didn’t had the realisation before 😅
🍉 What I like about you – Marisa Kanter [X]
It was such a nice experience to see myself as a book blogger in this one!! Ofcourse I had to dig to find more.. which sadly it appears that book bloggers MC in particular hasn’t been done alot or I didnt found them, though I found lots of general blogging.
Book Rec list post of “Content Creator” MC
🍉 The heart between us – Lindsay Harrel [X]
I recall being so. hyped. when I found this one on Netgalley.. having seen organ transplant very closely, I ofcourse wanna see more books we could relate with; and help raise awareness, too. Again, to my sadness, I’ve only seen one book relating to my particular experience of Kidney Transplant (Our year of maybe), the rest being mostly heart transplants.
Topics i’d love to read more about; Organ Donation
Which books made you crave for more?
