Good morning,
The spooky season is upon us 👻 Again, i’m not really feeling it quite yet.. but hopefully it’d be a better autumn season.
September’s Overall Feeling;
To be honest, I haven’t done quite much of anything – three of our five weeks this month I’ve been working 6days out of 7 😅 To top it off, our side of the pandemic is even worst than last month.. though now my café need customers to have a proof of vaccination & ID to stay inside aswell as the mask mandatory, there has been eclosions in schools and daycares.. having 60-80cases daily 🤦🏽♀️ I’m so tired of this..
Whenever i’m not working, i’m mainly playing on my New Horizons island I restarted. I’m slowly but surely getting it nicely decorated! I’ve also finally started another anime- settling for “Skyhigh Survival”, not typically my kind of shows, but i’m really liking it!
September’s Events;
♥︎ I’ve maintained my 3books read this month; two from my shelves & one loaned from the library. “The Lying game“ & “We can’t keep meeting like this“, aswell as “You know me well“ borrowed as an audiobook.
My yearly goodread goal having been met already, I have read an extra two books for my #BeatTheBacklist challenge, and one for my audiobook challenge. I have also managed to read 3 books out of my 5 on my Autumn TBR already!
♥︎ With all the working, this has been a hard month blogging ideas wise; but we only missed one post! I’ve shared one Sunday’s post this month, Tooth extraction & new horizons, and i’ve shared a few MH related posts: Recovery doesn’t fix suicide ideation aswell as a Let’s talk bookish post about book triggers (what I do if a book ever triggered me).
♥︎ With everything going on pandemic wise, they have imput a third covid vaccine dose for immuno-compromised people: including ones with cancer, having gone through a organ transplant, or anyone with chronic disease having medication suppressing their immune system. Good news here is that mother got hers on the next day of this was announced 👏🏼
October’s new pages;
Ofcourse I went with two different shade of orange, one glittery burnt & one neon. I quite like what I did this month, especially drawing wise — as you can see on my blog planning page, I attempted a sleeping bat! I also added a space to write-in what anime shows I choose to watch, on top on my books read in the month.
The quote I picked for this month: “Rest isn’t bad. Allow it to feel like well-needed rest, not laziness or procrastination! Take care of yourself, busy bee”.
How was your September, anything good happened?
Are you excited hopping into the spooky season? xx
