June’s Wrap up! ✻
Good morning!
I found that for once June did go by pretty fast; We had just started the month and suddently we were the 15th. Weather wise, we have moved from the heat warning we had last month to chilly real fast 🙃 It’d be fun to have a middle-range weather ahaha those are my faves.. Let’s see what June brought me!
June’s feels;
I celebrated my 3months in my new workplace ✨ Crazy how comfortable and WAY less anxious I am already. I still have another 3months before my probation ends, but I learnt so much, and it definately cleared my “idk what i’m doing” anxiety- Having good feedbacks from customers is also so precious to me ❤️❤️ the change was SO scary, but I don’t regret it one bit- I am truly happy and properly taken care of where I am now.
On Sundays where I work, I love to bring Kafei along; as we have a shorter shift (we open 10-5), so I don’t need to bring his supper, which he won’t wanna eat anyway. He loves the pup-luck bag that I got so much!! It always makes me giggle that customers don’t realize he’s on my back until I turn around 🤣 After that they always ask me if he’s a puppy (nope, he’s 8!) and where I got it from and/or get surprised that he’d stay in there all day.
What I’ve read;
I recovered from my slow-mode, and read 4 this month! I finished my audiobook “It sounded better in my head“, and moved to three that was on my unread shelf: “Second Breath“, “La tête hors de l’eau” (Swimming Lessons) & “Et tombes les têtes”. One book was on my Summer Tbr!
On my yearly goal, we are now at 23/30. 12 of them are in english, for 11 french; #BeatTheBacklist are at 18, My #AudiobookChallenge2022 have 2, and finally my un-usual reads are 12 (Erotica, Poetry & True Crime fiction).
June’s Highlight;
♥︎ I’ve moved out of doing Sunday’s Chats for the time being, concentrating myself on doing “Let’s talk bookish” instead, with one “Top 5 Tuesday”. I also added one more post on my serie of “Books & their french Translation” (LGBTQ+), aswell as another MH Post “Living w/ depression; forgetting we matters too“ & “My reality with restless legs“.
♥︎ I finally caved and got a VPN !! Not that I really need it, as my Wifi & the work one is private but- my paranoïa… 😅 I’ve also not used the location featured much either to unlock another Netflix- which I really do need to watch that more; I however feel much more safe. I got a 2yrs plan with a discount of NordVPN & NordPass for passwords keeping/breach searching/etc. out of one of my true crime youtuber i’ve been watching.
♥︎ Gaming wise I’ve been hooked on My time at portia pretty much all month’s long still– I’m now up to year 2, and still LOVE the concentration of the game being more on crafting/villager’s missions/mining & collections that you can pick which one you wanna concentrate on rather than farming. I’ve also gotten into Sims 4 Warewolf a bit, but definately more on MTAP. (Related post on those two, dated June 12th)
♥︎ Next month on July 24th it’s my bestfriend’s baby shower 🥰 She’s due in September so my goddaughter is coming pretty fast! Not gonna share a picture in this month, but I can’t wait for her to see my babyshower gift (in case she fumble over here, ahah)
*I got her a multicolored dachshund plushy to think of her godmother being 3hrs away, aswell as a tiny pink bracelet she can wear when she gets older*
